(AP) - A former waitress has settled a lawsuit against Hooters, which she said promised to award her a new Toyota but instead gave her a toy Yoda. An attorney for Jodee Berry said Wednesday that he could not immediately disclose the settlement's details. "She's satisfied with it," said the attorney, David Noll. He did say that Berry can now go to a local car dealership and "pick out whatever type of Toyota she wants." Berry, 27, won a beer sales contest in last May at the Panama City Beach Hooters. She believed she had won a new Toyota car. She was blindfolded and led to the restaurant parking lot, but when the blindfold was removed, she found she was the winner of a toy Yoda Star Wars doll. Berry quit the restaurant a week later and filed a lawsuit in August against Gulf Coast Wings, Inc., the corporate owner of the local Hooters, alleging breach of contract and fraudulent misrepresentation. The restaurant's manager, Jared Blair, has said the whole contest was an April Fools' joke. This settlement is unusual in that Hooters did not ask for a sweeping confidentiality agreement, Noll said. "I think that's a recognition of the fact that there's been such an amazing amount of attention focused on this case," he said. "There's not a whole lot of reason to try to hide its existence." Good, the toy Yoda thing was a load of bullshit. I'd sue too.

UPDATE: Alrighty folks, I have purchased a new toy. I saw the same frog at the store but when I went back for it, it was gone, so I have a different animal that I have sent out today to get this going again. I won't say who is getting it, but you should have it soon. Sorry for the long delay, I was really hoping that it would turn up in China, but no. Oh well, game on again!

For quality post processing you're going to want to get a program like Photoshop. Oh the things you can do.

Don't adjust the photo so drastically. It makes the photo look extremely fake and... not that good (and I mean that in the nicest way possible). Try messing around with the curves and masks. There are lots of tutorials on the internet that can help you with photo processing.

This is not anything against you, I think your painting is very nice, but online contests are a joke. It's more of a "who has more friends" contest than an actual contest to see what/who is the best. I hate that. I'll vote for you, though, because I like your painting.

Thanks! That really was the only reason I posted it, not because I think beating on people is cool or fun or awesome. Even though in reality domestic violence is not a laughing matter, a few harmless (obvious) jokes and people get wound up. I admit I laughed because it's purely in jest and I doubt the people making jokes think actual abuse is funny. Anyway, I just 'beat' myself up too. I gotta tell ya, I look stunning.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but alright. You find it creepy that someone can use photoshop well and created a mugshot for a celebrity? The picture of a battered woman is creepy. The fact that you would use your time and "talents" to create it is not surprising. Clear? LOL @ 'battered' woman. Would you be less insulting if it was a man that was chopped instead? Get over it.

I know what the "twist" is (and it's stupid) but I want to see the movie because it looks decent.

OF COURSE YOU SHOULD HAVE!!! That way all the women that were so offended by the jokes could be LIFTED ON HIGH as the oppression is lifted from their backs. But you would have to say that a woman did the beating for it to really have the desired impact. I might just make another thread!
