  1. Loved the bit where it goes on about the implications of having a monkey as a pet: Are You Tolerant, Flexible, Prepared? Other behaviors which can require tolerance include male and female masturbating, same sex mounting, scratching of genital areas, displaying erections or monkeys copulating in front of an audience. Sounds a LOT like skydivers
  2. It's also possible that spyware or a virus has deleted/corrupted/damaged a system file. Windows has a utility to scan for missing/corrupt files: Open up a command prompt (START / RUN / Type in CMD in the 'open' box then click OK at the command prompt type in: SFC /SCANNOW SFC (system file checker) then scans all system files and may need your original windows CD to replace any that are missing or corrupt. 3. I'm suprised no one's said it yet but: Republicans.
  4. I'm sure Billy Vance will track one down and there'll be a posting soon. Don't encourage him!!!!
  5. ewwww, but they have that horrendous Symbian O/S on them. Phone viruses anyone lol A mate of mine has one of the new HP iPaqs that have a SIM slot and can be used as a phone. Was very impressed with it, but I'll stick with my Nokia & use bluetooth to sync/backup contacts to my trusty tablet. Each to their own, though
  6. Good Afternoon its 4pm here in NZ. Almost time for beer
  7. QuoteI would rather have a small tablet pc with a wireless access card (to communicate while not connected to a lan line) hell had i had this technology 3 years ago i would have never left the dz.....Quote This is exactly how i work...have a HP TC1100 tablet with a Telecom NZ 3G wireless card. got all my data, applications, software, email with a nice proper email client, rather than one of these tiny handheld devices that are slow/easily lost/have tiny buttons. All on a device slightly thicker than an A4 pad. works a treat. and best of all my employer paid for it
  8. >Eh. Where someone sticks their willie in their free time is pretty much the least of my concerns. Yeah? Well likewise, all these threads about bloody boobies are the least of mine
  9. "These skills are not rocket science, but they are NOT something you're going to figure out on your first flight while you're drifting toward the high tension lines and imminent crispy-critterhood! Fly safely!" man, that looks awesome....would definitely like to give that a go...with my trusty rig on. Scaredy cat i know....but knowing my luck a flock of magpies or birds with *extremely* sharp beaks/claws would just happen to be in the vicinity Russ. ps...overdue for a beer, eh matt? hope yer ok
  10. Try living in NZ. New Zealand sits right on top of the boundary between the Pacific & Australian plates...we get around 14,000 earthquakes per annum and 200 of these are significant ones...have a look at GNS's site, some interesting info on the latest quakes: http://www.geonet.org.nz/recent_quakes.html At some point, no one knows when of course, we'll get another BIG one (the last major earthquake completely destroyed the city of Napier in 1931, killing 256 people). And where I live in Auckland, the city sits on about 50 volcanic cones. Some extinct some dormant...last eruption was a mere 600 years ago But apart from the fact that you could be buried alive in an earthquake or burned to a crisp in a volcanic eruption, life's pretty good here Russ [edited for schpleing]
  11. Cresco (PAC 750's brother) for AFF then a PAC 750 for consols / solos / sport jumps after that. Got 120 odd jumps now and still haven't jumped out of a Cessna. When I finally do, man the ride to altitude is gonna be soooo boring
  12. >We consider it almost our birthright to meddle in other country's affairs. Hey. You're American. Shit happens!
  13. WOW, POPS membership is definitely gonna get a big boost in the coming decades! I got 75...better lay of the pharmaceuticals
  14. And you didn't get video?! C'mon dude!!, us Brits live for this sensational stuff, next to the boobies on page 3 of the Sun

  16. >R U in the UK????? Nope, try New Zealand. Where we have thirteen sheep for every man, woman and child. lol
  17. >Always hit the button WITHOUT, and, I repeat, WITHOUT, having the prongs turned the wrong way in your hand. Bwaaaaahahahahah!! So what happened, did you crap yourself? (like the dog....Damn, thats 2 piles of shit I gotta clean up now!!)
  18. Hot: The people, planes & general 'vibe' of the place. Plus the fact that the beer fridge is *always* well stocked NotsoHot: It's 3hrs drive to get there, plus it's a bit of a Tandem factory
  19. Ok, IMHO Soft links are better more user friendly than rapide links. There, are we happy now Russ (who has PD Slinks on his main & reserve)
  20. They don't have a website as far as I'm aware. I've PM'd you Dave's email address. Or you can call him on +64 73767136 Remember we have a bit of a time difference here in NZ I've got 2 deepseed jumpsuits & they're AWESOME.
  21. Anyone got one? Care to post a piccy? cheers
  22. This one made me cross me legs together: http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,3280691a4560,00.html Dont try that at home kids
  23. Cheers for a good laugh - especially liked the bit where it says: (4.) You must cut off all sources and relationships that would lead you back into sin. The Bible tells us to flee fornication (sexual sins). You must get out of any corrupt entanglements, or areas that you know will be a temptation to you. If you have been hooked on internet pornography subscribe to an Internet Service Provider that will filter out the pornography for you. Destroy all evil books and videos. What with all the boobie/sex threads on DZ.com, we're all sinners, totally beyond salvation. I Demand Sangiro close the place down now. Sweet. How YOU doin? [edited for spleeing]
  24. It saddens me what's going on in the states, ie gay marriage/gay couples marriages being annuled. So much for it being 'the land of the free' Here in NZ, the Civil Union Act came ino force a couple of weeks ago and allows anyone gay/straight (but must be over 16) to form a legally recognised relationship. The NZ parliament also passed a companion act that changed the wording of hundreds of other acts (tax, next-of-kin, employment and so on) so that civil unions have *exactly* the same legal standing as a marriage. I think the NZ Parliament got it exactly right, the state now recognises same-sex relationships and puts them on the same level as marriage. We are now truly equal. Of course, some do argue that we aren't equal because we can't have a *marriage* but IMHO who would want to get married in a church anyway, an institution that really doesnt like gays at all. Interestingly enough, the first couple to have a civil union was a straight couple. Quite a few gay couples have tied the knot since then, and contrary to what the religious bigots said, the sky Hasn't fallen in. Russ
  25. Tube jumps ROCK!! I did my first one at Sydney back in Dec...a 6 way...awesome...was the last load of the year & we went upto 16K Apparently another tip with tube jumps is to keep the tube tight ie keep your arms tensed/close to your body. But yeah, after awhile you just can't hold on anymore & it blows apart lol try it...lots of fun
