you are so lucky. ive heard people can land on their tailbone and it jars the whole spine up to the brain... not sure if that is true, but it sounds scary. my daughter fell off play ground equipment about 5 years ago and landed square on her tailbone. she couldn't walk for about a week. we had it exrayed..only a bad bruise, no break or separation, but even now she has pain sometimes, after sitting a long while or sitting on a hard surface. hope you heal quickly !! and hope you don't have any after effects. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit -

I have two. Both have specific meanings. A Heart with Wings-on my ankle (Heart= Love, Wings=Flying) I got the wings when I flew my first Solo (airplane) and added the heart when I got my private pilot rating. The other is on my shoulder. A Dove with a Rose (Rose= Love, Dove= flying) Got the Dove when I flew my first Solo Cross Country.. added the Rose when I passed the written exam. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit -

My 17 yr old daughter has been having severe, dibilitating headaches every day for months. She has missed so much school that she is on a home bound program to get her caught up. Many tests and several doctors later, no one can explain the cause of these headaches. Shorting the story to what made my day... On a scale of 1-10 her headache, this evening was only a Four! The lowest the pain has been since December. Maybe she is FINALLY going to get better.

sometimes... the Love you are denied as a child comes out of you in love for your own. I think Im trying to say... you turned it around. Instead of being the kind of parent you had.. and feared you would be, you became just the opposite.

(((HUGS))) sweetie. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you and your mom were very close. I can only imagine how hard this is for you. But you know what? I believe your mom probably had a hand you posting this and by making this post you could save another woman having to go through what your mom did. You may save another child the loss of a mother. Ladies... it is NOT that big a deal to have a pap test done. You owe it to yourself and your families. Take care of your body. Thanks my friend. I hope you find some comfort and peace tonight. Amber, tbat is soooo cool what you did. My daughter keeps having me measure her hair. She's not wanting Chin length when she gets it cut... but just touching her shoulders. She has about 2" to go and she can donate too

I have wanted to skydive for YEARS. My ex and I at one time planned to do it together, when the kids were older. That fell through just like the marriage. I never got over wanting to know what it was like to jump from a plane. Last summer I attended several air shows and was always in awe of the demo teams. I was seriously considering it last August. I flew with a friend to Archway and visited their DZ. We watched some of the jumpers come in to land. It was growing on me more and more. I went to Wichita to the air show in September. The Air Force Cadet demo team was there. They were having so much fun.... I knew then I was Going to do it. Two weeks later I did. Five days after my 45th birthday. That "only want to do it once" thing has turned into 17 jumps so far. If it weren't for our horrible mid-west winter... there would have been many more... there still will be ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit
