took me 20+ jumps to get to a point I wasn't ready to rip the door off at 1000 feet and jump the F#$K out.. Breathe deep go over your jump talk to people on the plane do anything to keep your mind from thinking stupid shit talk to other jumpers who have tons of jumps and when they tell you they have the same thoughts it will help. Ok now that I understand them a bit better.... 2-2-0 Went to California- My daughter turned 5 on Sunday(why I went to Cali) Second time my daughter got to see me jump and it was HER Idea! 3rd Jump at Lodi ,got to be on John's 100th,not sure who he is but he signed my log book but I am sure he remembers me as he got a big scratch on his face from my helment as he rode me for quite a while on exit. Landed in Utah@4pm Sunday and was on a load in Ogden before 6pm

I switched from the regular Rockstar to the Diet Rockstar.(I'm to fat as it is)Only Diet drink I ever had that I actually like! I will drink a go fast at the DZ on occassion but really hate paying $2 for half the amount i get from a Rockstar for the same money. AS far back as I can remember. I learned an umbrella doesn't slow you down when you jump off your roof (6 or 7 years old) Learned that a plane made of 2x4's and ply wood does not fly when ridden off your roof (age 8) Bed Sheets no matter how you arrange them do NOT make good parachutes (9,10,11,12 etc).Diving head first into water from 100'+ makes your head hurt for days (15,16,17,18,19,20,21, you get ther picture... I have always wanted to fly. I was the kid that would jump anything. I was jumping my big wheel at age 5. I have always loved being in the air. Which is weird because I have a fear of heights. Actually it is more of a fear that I am gonna jump off spontaneously. Anway back to the question I have always thought about can't remeber ever not wanting to do it...Just took me 37 years to cough up the money and just do it! The best way to react to those that only wish to cause controversey is no action. When you ignore them it pisses them more then arguing with them. Again the nicest thing I can say to you is "Hope you don't Bounce" Peace... I started this because I felt and still feel very deeply about the decisions this man made. I personally was very proud when he made his decision. It made me think about my own decisions in life and had me wondering if I would be willing to walk away from millions of dollars for my convictions... Sadly I don't think I would have been able to but as an American I am truley honered by this mans actions and as a NFL Fan I am sad that I will never get to see him blow up another wide reciever trying to go over the middle.......
