    i look at the situation like this: every day thousands upon thousands of cases across the country are settled in a non-violent, logical manner. so, even though there will always be people who are overly emotionally involved in any given situation, usually the correct decision is made with the help of outside arbitrators (courts).     the right call was made not because of the autopsy knowledge but because that is the rule of law in this country. her husband had the final say, as he should, because that's how the law is set up. period. there's a reason that common law has evolved to what it has over the last several hundred years...logic usually wins out over passion.     i hope all the peeps out there have their own retirement savings plan in operation because SS is just another income tax as far as i'm concerned. maybe when i turn 65 (or whatever the age is now) the govt will hand me a stack of iou's so that i won't need to buy toilet paper anymore.
