i have to comment on this as it is wholely amuzing. gmaster makes a statement about the climate change being all the fault of humans. i.e. humans have changed it but it is not entirely a cause-effect scenario stemming solely from humans. then, mr2 chides him because he said that humans don't have any effect on the climate (gmaster never said this) and further makes an analogy about a retarded kid not being able to comprehend what is going on. anybody but me see the irony? all i can tell ya is that i love my rawa. aerostore in PA sells 'em. i love it because of the fit. sure, the camera is secure but, it's easy to make the camera secure. make sure you find something that fits correctly or you won't be happy. other than that, just be aware that you are adding another variable to the mix. getting a camera caught in your lines or whatever isn't fun for you or your camera! the best i have flown are a pair of glasses made by WileyX. they have a thin elastic band for security and they have dense foam around the inside of the eye glass that is much more durable than the foam you see on normal goggles. the elastic band can be removed and they can be worn as regular sun glasses if you wish. they are constructed of plastic and the lenses are polycarbonate (a plastic) so, i don't worry too much about them breaking. i picked them up online for about $80. i have also flown Gatorz radiator sun glasses and they look awesome but, for me, they let wind in above my eyes when i'm headdown. i'd also hate to bend or break them on a freefly jump as they are about $130! personally, i use stats and my own experience to try and relay the fact that it's possible, not probable. i think the big thing for people is that skydiving is a totally unnecessary risk as opposed to things like driving, which are viewed as necessary risks. i'm not going to reply to all that stuff in your post except to say that while i was a military policeman, the vast majority in my units were understanding of the complexities of the world and didn't think the way that your example family seems to think. take what you heard as an example of one extreme and realise that the other extreme (thinking that america is the evil doer in the world and that we kill babies for fun) exists as well. most people fall somewhere in the middle and the more educated and rational they are, the better insight they will have. thanks...matter is on my short list of suits that i'm considering. quick question for you: how hard of a transition is it to switch from a baggy suit (i fly a bomber right now that is pretty baggy) to a form-fitting suit? i'm sure it'll take getting used to but, from what i've heard/read, it seems that small corrections are easier to make accurately in the form-fitting suits than in the baggy ones. nope. he asked me what has been done to prevent it. i asked what has been done to ensure it. he made the valid point that human nature is bound to tempt some of the contractors into unfair profiteering and my point is that making a profit is what capitalilsm allows. finding the balance where everyone is happy is the tricky part.
