  1. You did it as a way of proving the bible. No matter. So, I don't doubt that you are justifiably proud of your special forces history. You should be and very much so. It's a rare and incredible accomplishment. But now that you're a member of the turn the other cheek army why do you now and here feel the need to so identify? It just seems inconsistent with your positions that, well, never mind.
  2. Excellent, quote the bible to prove the bible. Seriously, if consistency and integrity are of any concern, the Mods should warn against it.
  3. No thanks, I'll leave reading the bible to prove the truth of the bible to adherents like yourself. Stop being obtuse. I did not state "all" adherents nor am I separating adherents into crooks and non crooks. I am saying that belonging to a belief system whose success is based in large part on a gross misrepresentation of the physical appearance of the claimed Messiah should be embarrassing to a thinking person. But I guess we have different standards.
  4. Because you ascribe to the belief and tout that it is the most important truth of the universe. Sadly, for adherents, it is being fraudulently marketed.
  5. You know what I was saying and "some peoples misrepresentation of what Jesus looks like" trivializes what should be an embarrassment for you. Those "some peoples" are the purveyors of Christianity and those purveyors are intentionally misrepresenting the product. And that is absolutely real.
  6. Then how do you feel about Christianity's marketing department using such obvious frauds to gain market share? I credit you in advance with realizing that many current adherents would have bolted out the door were they asked to follow a dark skinned Prophet who had an afro. Or do you chalk this up to an ends justifying the means scam?
  7. They're supposed to be sent in, obviously, hence the kerfuffle.
  8. Interesting they did a deep dive into the logbooks focusing on the engine mod's. Maybe it's just a hard on for King Air's after Hawaii. I haven't done it in a while but it used to be that you could pull the entire 337 package out of Oklahoma City for 50 bucks. There may even be a local title company that will cross the street and get it for a fee instead of waiting two weeks.
  9. Pretty much he didn't want to show his finances, I read.
  10. Sure he should, and so should Feinstein and the rest of the gerontocracy we're plagued by. What a crap situation.
  11. Out of curiosity, do any of these images, in your opinion, depict Jesus as he was?
  12. And who were the I&A's who signed off the annuals for a decade without having a look at the 337 forms? Sounds to me like you were lied to. Now, if thats true, whatcha gonna do? Keep the DZ a secret?
  13. If you believe that bit, and I do not. Jay, we are in full disagreement on the truth of Christianity but I must say that I am very thankful for your forceful defense of your beliefs over the last few days. You've given several of us here the chance to be more engaged on one of the most important topics of our time. That's a good thing for all. Have a great night.
  14. Sure, and the Reichsknonkordat treaty between the Holy See and the Nazis giving them a clear running lane had no religious component. Also, no doubt, it was just to get a good deal that the Wehrmacht belt buckles were embossed with the words "Gott Mit Uns". Certainly it might have been just a casual remark like when our soldiers claim "For God and Country" when killing our enemies. Even so, we constantly find the claim of divine providence in side the trigger guard.
  15. What type of aircraft and what was the "paperwork" deficiency?
  16. And that is irrefutable proof? You know, convincing evidence of the type that a rational person would reorganize their life as an immediate response? Jay, surely you can at least understand why that seems preposterous to so many.
  17. But not the same song over and over and over.....
  18. That's even sillier. Find another way to prove the bible with out quoting the bible or some youtube pastor.
  19. You're right, I need to take a tighter grip.
  20. The very competent jewish school of archeology could not when given free rein, when they controlled the Sinai, prove the Exodus or any other so called fact of the bible when they had every interest to do so. It never happened and they admit it. Still Jay and Ron refuse to accept their delusions. So it is.
  21. It may already be dead, don't have too much hope. Today at the local UPS store I was entertained by an ignorant jackass wearing a bright red DeSantis 2024 hat. How can we have a democracy when such a high percentage of voters are so ignorant that they stand in line to send obvious cult masters their money and loyalty? No sane person can have any doubt that Trump is a wide ranging criminal and an insurrectionist who cares not a whit for else than himself and is absolutely guilty of every charge leveled against him. But goddamn if there isn't a chance that he'll skate again and be our next President. Son-of-a-bitch.
  22. At the time resurrections were somewhat common, the raising of Jairus' daughter for example. Then there was Matthew 27:52 and the opening of the tombs and the raising of the many holy dead who then, given there were no Ubers at the time, must have thumbed it into Jerusalem for snacks and fresh clothes before the celebration. Of course, even though there were notable historians like Flavius Josephus there at the time no mention of these miracles is recorded. Now isn't that odd?
