  1. Unless you are happy with a 182 and Top Ramen, it's all about numbers: possible jumping day's and numbers of jumpers. I seem to recall from my aircraft leasing day's, Super Otters, Super Caravans and regular Caravans of all flavors that the operator needed to do something like 35-40,000 seats a year before it was a slots calculation. Otherwise the accounting must be a blend of high value customers and us to make the nut.
  2. No, you understand. I was gun baiting the never give an inch on guns crowd. Weren't you going to find a firing pin for my BRNO?
  3. PHILADELPHIA — The coronavirus pandemic has led to a rush to purchase firearms and ammunition in the Philadelphia region and across Pennsylvania, leading to long lines at some gun shops. But the Philadelphia Police Department has shut down its gun-permits unit. Firearm owners without a license-to-carry permit will, in almost all circumstances, not be able to carry the weapons without risking arrest. Now what? How will they protect themselves in this crisis? You know, from others.

There are fewer than 7 months until the election. Gotta say, you are a trooper. Better to lose the Nationals at the Nationals than ditch the team mate you recommended. You never know, right? Maybe he'll pull off the rubber mask and son of a bitch it's Jack Jeffries laughing his ass off. Good on ya'.

Have you listened to a single one of his presser rants?

Are you holding out for a Hail Mary, Q to be real and right, or some other Black Swan event to save your honor?

I am so hoping. I've made it known I favor Klobuchar first or any character from Doctor Zeuss second. But, in the words of the bard: "here's the deal", Will you be voting for Biden in November?

I know, it must be getting old by now. I'm actually just trying to be helpful. Come this November I want it to seem like yesterday.

Trolling, no. Valueless and inarticulate, yes. Two out of three is good, yes?
  10. Sure, it was a general observation tossed out for a snark. Boxies are worse in Cairns and North and the flies are worse near the Margaret River/Leeuwin area. I'll try to behave in the future.

Unlike the dipshit President you voted for?

Google Scholar reach arounds or dingle berries and you'll find the same number of papers published by Dr. Kallend.
  13. Good. But he's awful at math, too. I added up 31%. If you don't know how much you're stealing you need to resign and make way for better people.

With Jesus there is one truth but in all other things many? Your ability to think critically seems to have atrophied from non-linear thinking.

    Q

So with all this non-thinking linear you do, how is it that you can only parrot what you are told? By now we should all be gob smacked by your critical insights and original conclusions. But somehow that never happens. Any clues why, Counselor?
  16. You force your needy to come to the food bank? I assume you expect them to cook it, too. That would never float in Stumptown, no sir, no way. In Portland we have 38 places where a free cooked meal can be had. The Homeless Peoples Union makes sure there is plenty and that it's nutritious. They are also rated so no one need need take their meals at a sub par free kitchen. We have standards in Oregon.
  17. Wowser, the virus did what those damnable flies and box jelly fish couldn't. The end must be nigh.
  18. Great idea, that'll teach them to love nature. Personally, I consider it camping when the hotel does not have a club floor lounge. You also be safe. I shudder to think what we'd need to advertise to find your replacement.
  19. Yes, and the good they do is wonderful. But the scam is to donate stock with untaxed gains into an LLC tax free and then go be a boy scout. Arguably, philanthrocapitalism has certain advantages. But I'd be a lot more impressed if he paid taxes on the gains first. Why? Well I don't think our better interests are served best when rich dudes decide who gets what like in feudal times. Also, I'm thinking that while issues in Africa are important, so are eye operations for kids in Alabama. You know, Alabama in the USA. That, I'm good with. Spending tax free money to do good works that governments should be doing with tax dollars, not so much.
  20. O.K., and here I am with a non-functioning brain and a terminal case of liberalitis. So, tell me wizard of the conservative agenda, how are you spending your day's in Corona Virus land? You won't be tossing drogues at someone else's DZ for a while, that's a certainty, and I doubt you have the moxie to put it all together and make a real DZ on your own. Me, well I'm at anchor off of Sint Maarten trying to decide whether Antigua or the USVI's are next up. All paid for with earnings made while believing in and living by liberal values. Funny how that works.
  21. airdvr, you are an intellectual caricature. Obama is history, Hillary, too. Try, just one day try, to validate what you believe without bringing up Obama.
  22. Not the only thing you should have dumped long ago except that you value reason, logic, archeological evidence, geologic evidence and on and on and on less than you value faith. "I had to maintain faith." You didn't have to, Ron, that's a cop out that gives you a pass for bad decision making. I actually find it unsettling that you have a counseling credential but are so utterly ignorant about human nature. Your own, especially.
  23. They buy a second house where, the south of France? What if they already own too many houses? Buy a car? Like a Bentley or a Rolls? Maybe they already have too many cars. Rich people don't go on vacation, they are on vacation. Go out to eat, really? You aren't talking rich people, you are talking middle class people. Or, like Turtle, maybe you think a couple of million is rich. Believe the meme as you will but trillion dollar tax cuts corporations use for stock buy backs aren't really trickling down according to plan. And good ol' Bill Gates, well I seem to recall that when he promised to donate all of his money to charity back when he had $65 Billion. He's over $100 Billion now. Eleemosynary is as eleemosynary does, I reckon.
  24. As an old boss once said: "Every company needs an asshole, and you're ours." Clear discrimination against non-assholes, it seemed to me. Whatever Biden is thinking, in my opinion some jobs are better filled with non-assholes. President of the United States, especially. Done properly, the President surrounds him or herself with dedicated, level headed experts and then makes educated executive decisions. I simply believe, based on empirical data, that with a woman as President we have a better chance of getting a non-asshole.
