Nothing about this is a protest. (NSFW Racial Expletives)

Fair enough. But isn't stating things in a way that can be made to come back to haunt you an easy thing to do? Bill, I saw that you made a mistake and used it purposely to make the point. Smelling some blood, jakee and olof came in for a bite. That's the way it works. Biden blunders and not even his most forceful supporters won't acknowledge that truth. But he isn't a self serving lier and he has an amazing and long history of public service and overcoming personal tragedies. Trumps story does not compare. Who we want as a President should have more to do with character than our own individual self interests. Please give it a second look. -
That's why any attempts to make them see the light are futile: it's the absence of fact they find compelling. It's all about believing in something in the face of opposition be that Q, Trump or whatever. Knock down a pillar and their faith only strengthens. Some small numbers seem able to break free of the delusions but always, it seems, it's of their own volition. I can not recall even one that was argued out of it. I do now agree that it's educational to keep a few around in the internet terrarium for occasional viewing. But arguing with them is pointless and definitely not for their sake.

Wisely, she followed the Trump University program. So what's your point? D's do it too so stop with the endless pointing out of Republican crooks?
-
That wasn't vitriol. That was simply explaining the thing in an understandable way. Sadly, and it comes more from the right than the left in my experience, disagreement is often considered an affront.

- I have owned and run a couple businesses. One was small and the other one had $21.5 million of revenue in 3.5 years, not to shabby. Also worked for a Fortune 500 size corporation, and a few other small businesses. -I saw the opportunity in a niche market, wrote the business plan, it was approved, but frankly no one thought it was possible. Conservative company and no rewards for being creative. Maintaining status quo was preferred. So, it wasn't a business you owned or ran. You were an employee. Now it makes sense. You expanded your CV for convenience. Similar to your Biden complaint which has us met here today: -WP - there are plenty of documented whopper lies. He's rarely been in the limelight and folks really didn't care what he said for most of his career. Now that he's decided to try to be important, it does matter. One can't say, "I graduated in the top of my law class", when they finished 76th out of 85. I could go on with dozens more but no need. And yes, Trump has lied plenty. -
The lesser of two evils argument is simply that one was worse so I had to vote for the other. Hence, it was their fault.
-
Please take a different view. The lesser of two evils idea is an abdication of responsibility for ones vote, I've always thought. In every election you will have a candidate you prefer above the other. Pull the lever and own it; your vote is never someone else's fault.

Seriously John, are you expecting an epiphany from fngbigbear? He'll just point out that we're manipulated pawns of a liberal rag and then wonder where his favorite super hero went.

I also kept my Doctor and my plan. Of course, it all started going to hell as the co-ops were defunded by republicans (not cops defunded, stay calm R's) and stressed the whole thing. It's amazing it's hung on this long, really.

Amazing. I've built up a few companies with respectable revenues but could never see going from $0 to $21.5M in 3.5 years. Doing that R&Ring building internals which requires a lot of planning and ordering and resolving problems is a remarkable achievement. Did it all just end after 3.5 years? -
That's exactly right. They all just expired with a silly smile and a Make America Great Again salute.

Patience Grasshopper. And try to remember that the process to achieve a Covid-19 vaccine is already being fast tracked, and with parallel efforts, in unprecedented ways.

$21.5 million in revenue in 3.5 years, now that's impressive. What was the business? -
Bullshit. It was going to theater that did him in. He did it to himself.

It's not just Trump. -
I'm thinking that including the post one is commenting on with the reply might be another good rule :)
-
Not that it matters much in this instance, but maybe there should be a forum rule that you cannot post links to articles you haven't read or videos you haven't watched.

And it's enough of a turn off to stop from opening threads at times. -
Not really. Have you read it? It's a joke. 29 exceptions including #27 a through f items covering buying fabric safely. Basically you can not beach lounge for a week but walking to the water to surf, fish with your buddy or skip stones is A-OK. Otherwise, just have your excuse ready. Mahalo.

When my mother went deaf and I had to learn to communicate with her and train a dog, all way before it was normalized, it was just a thing to do. I'm glad I didn't need to think about silent cars at intersections.
-
I picked inches because what's usually measured in inches is usually rounded up. Wouldn't do to say 6.74 inches.
-
Nope. It's the metric system. We stay 2 yards apart and they stay 2 meters apart. Apparently the additional 7 inches is decisive. And that is why we're worse off than everyone else.

Out the back of a Skyvan is my guess. And a damned good solution, too.
