There it is sport fans, a big gob of cantaloupes will be harvested this year. Thanks to everyone who participated and now back to our regularly scheduled programming. Late Breaking News: Scientists have developed a swizzle stick for the ear that will give someone advance notice that they are about to say something dumb. Anonymous sources state that several SC posters will be included in Phase 1 Trials.
-
Thank you. I'll add that to the graph.
-
That's good news. How many, then?
-
The poster asked how many lives will be saved if Biden is elected. Like the cantaloupe harvest it's an obviously unknowable thing, the asking of it helps no one.
-
You'd think the ninnies would at least ask for a seat on the boards.
-
Appreciated. The world needs more Canadien voyeurs.
-
How many cantaloupes will be harvested this year? How many lives would be saved if we all wore seatbelts, drove the speed limit, and never drove after drinking? You must know that is the lamest of the lame questions you could ask.
-
Thanks for the reminder Don. Time for me to give to the Lincoln Project. Their ads are sometimes the days best entertainment.
-
I'm not at liberty to offer details but such a test has already passed a small initial trial with 99% accuracy. A larger test is now underway. Results are effectively real time.

Westerly, Think at the restaurant door, at the ticket counters, at the boarding areas, at the school entrance and on and on. We survived TSA we'd survive that, too. Totally voluntary; you want in then take the test.
-
Exactly. He'd died by doing what scorpions do. Hardly self serving.
-
Nonsense. It’s simply the parable of the turtle and the scorpion read in real life.

You won't have me coming out against vengeance, no way. And if we get a chance to get some against this current crew of bastards I want to take it. In this instance I was talking about something far more valuable, and amongst most republican politicians these days very rare, which is integrity.
-
I think it does say something about her. That she's as much of a self serving hypocrite as could be expected when offered a guaranteed, no brainer, lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court. People who value people with integrity think it would have been admirable for her to say, no, not me. Not after how Merrick Garland was handled. When Dan O'Brien stood down from the 300 way (with an 8AM bottle of Patron) because of ill treatment of the "A" Team bench he simply said "it's all about integrity". Mike Raible didn't say it when he didn't take a well performing jumpers slot to be on the 200 Way but that was also all about integrity. I'm thinking that if Skydivers can show integrity maybe Judges could show some, too.

If they had put the medium on a long coke spoon instead of a swab we wouldn't be in this position.

I read it but didn't watch the video. Wonderful, lawyers to the rescue again. So the test isn't advertised to be infallible. No surprise there. Still, like Trump yards signs, they can offer valuable information to a skilled observer. That said, to my knowledge, there are better and faster tests than PCR on the way.

Awesome. So when do us corporals and privates get a jab? It's good news but the vaccine is a chimera, for sure. We want it, and hopefully you kids need to wait in line behind the deserving elderly, but it's cheap and accurate testing with immediate results that will set us free. No one has any clue how long the immunity will last and, even after a few months when it finally trickles up to Canadiens, there will still be 40 million Americans who won't vaccinate. In the meantime, everyday I check for monoclonal anti-bodies on Amazon but still it's only books.
-
That's fantastic. And what a great bunch of guys and girls to go out on a taxpayer paid for limb to distribute a vaccine already paid for by the taxpayers. Can we call them heroes, too?
-
Yessir. I only use original material----as far as I know, I guess.
-
Pizza revenues must be down, too. Well, if Soros folds there is always Ben "the gift that keeps giving" Ghazi.

Maybe you would have got the money regardless, maybe not. But if you were matching donations from donation one not only will you never know if you would have received the donations otherwise but you also need to assume it was a significant factor. I've done it on a small scale and it works. Somehow the giver believes they are also on the receiving end.
-
It's the transactional mindset. Then I could tell myself I was kicking in $800 a pop and feel like a big wheel.
-
I hear you. I also understand sending money to Senate candidates. It's just that this time around I can not see how the D's win the Senate without Biden winning the White House. Even if they did with trump still president it would end up being the most pyrrhic of victories. I've been feeding the Biden/Harris machine. They need the money if for nothing else than to keep asking me for more money.

My County Commissioners have never made me feel embarrassed to be an Oregonian. Nor has the mayor put anything in the world at risk. They may well be racists, homophobes, misogynists and thieves, I have no clue. Even if they are there isn't much impact they can have. Now the ability to degrade the integrity of the national government, install right wing ideologues on the Supreme Court and cause me to wonder if today's the day they start a nuclear war is something else entirely. Those things all bother the hell out of me. So, no, I don't think they can impact my life more.
