  1. Fair enough. On the evidence, given that the enterprise folded in spite of a large government subsidy, you were a disaster as a DZ Manager. Are you quitting skydiving or here in shame?
  2. You nailed it, totally. No need to change dumb gun laws when faster running will save you. Of course, there will be unfortunates like the Grannies who couldn't run away fast enough from Covid and some others who seem unable to run away from their ethnicity when deemed prudent, but oh, well. If there are going to be winners there must be losers, just the way it is.
  3. Alright, Mods, by his own words he is more than just trolling us all.
  4. Your needle is skipping again.
  5. Canada has gun nuts, anti-vaxxers, hard right yo-yo's, loads and loads of end of the road enclaves, and drunken ice fishing with hookers. Seems to me we need to be marketing their wonderland to some of our own unhappy campers and not our bird and bunny people.
  6. But you are, sort of, or so I sort of thought. I'm not saying you'd willingly whip the horse and drive the collection cart when the ban happens, not at all. I'm just pointing out that you're not part of the hold your breath until you turn purple crowd; you're all about talking it through.
  7. Somewhat expansively definitional, methinks. We have thoughtful, reasonable Second Amendment activists like BIGUN and loose cannons like Mrs. Weber's middle child but we also have the never give an inch types who see sensibility in polka dotted AR-Fifteenie's being marketed to kid's at the school bake sale.
  8. Putin up or Shuttin' up. Before Epoch Times runs with it you heard it first here: Do you think it's worth it to Putin to raid Ukraine to take the heat off of Trump? No doubt Trump would re-bomb Hiroshima if there was a 2% chance it would help. Hmm.. Inquiring Minds.....
  9. Excellent. You managed to squeeze in a dig at Obama.
  10. Winsor, in a few posts you claim a hope to have your .460 Weatherby, though it might be worthless. Do those come in double bore? Is that what you have? I thought they were bolt action rifles. I don't disagree that a double bore is more reliable for two shots but that's it. I say that as someone who hunted ducks for years with a single shot and took my share of doubles. I think a modern tactical semi-auto shot gun is reliable enough to be a better choice, seems to me.
  11. Absolutely. Ed Scott is right on this. From experience I can state affirmatively that being a DZO is no guarantee of excellence in any area. Beyond that there are plenty of DZO's or DZO spawn filling or ready to fill the ranks of RD's so I am certain the self serving will remain well represented at USPA Headquarters.

Epoch Times. You have to wonder, given that it's a ridiculable, far right, publication that is sure to be hammered here why offer them as a source?
  13. When I was concerned in Bear country I sported a semi auto with slugs. Wendy's reference cited Brenneke slugs. I have no need to hunt that way but I am going to get a box or two of their Magnum Crush rounds because I still do get into those areas from time to time. Of course, noise first and bear spray second.
  14. That was exactly my experience working in the Oregon Mountains years back. You'd hear them running off but rarely see them.
  15. If they make it illegal to shoot them unless they're already falling they'd have a great new sport and we'd kill two coco's with one nut.
  16. For sure Bear Spray isn't sufficient at an insurrection. I'll provide the cite after the 1/6 report comes out.
  17. And here I thought you had no sense of humor. Well played.

Officer, I'm from DZ.com, so if you think I was speeding the burden of proof is on you. Citation, please!

You've got me there. But let me get back home and I'm certain I can supply you with hours of entertaining video of free flyers doing exactly what they were told not to do.

Why 8K? He wasn't doing Crew. Seems to me it was going to be a Free Fly jump.

Does your modeling account for changes in vaccine efficacy over time? Are your projections based on national data only or will the results be more granular?

"It came from various other sources, some of them peer reviewed." "The reports/statements were published 8-12 months ago. What I find interesting is I can't find them now. That means they were either false and removed, or true and removed." Peer reviewed and evaporated in less than a year. Ja, oder es gab sie nie. In fairness, it's possible to see how Ken might conclude the peers were those who sit on a couch at Fox & Friends.

The current rule here is that when challenged you need to be able to back it up, usually with a citation. It could be FOX, MTG, your MOM or, in Brent's case, the Journal of Retired Thermos Users. (The article on how a Thermos knows whether to keep things hot or cold was fascinating, BTW) I chose the Urban Dictionary because it's ridiculous and I could get away with it. To your point: if you are asserting there are other people like me I think you should be ready to back that up with a citation.
  24. Not really. They didn't balk until forced to from document disclosures by non-clients. They're douches who are shocked, shocked that their client was lying. Correct me but I do not believe Trump is known to have ever stiffed his accountants.

You need to go to the Urban Dictionary. googaloo The gooey yellow gunk from the yolk in a cooked egg. I split open my egg - sunny side up- and all the googaloo rushed out like a lava flow. For the rest, why not credit the counter party with intentionally using the same wiggle room qualifiers you intentionally used?
