So if my sweetie came home one day to find me handcuffed in a swing with one of those red ball gags in my mouth, blindfolded, with matching red hand prints from slapping on my ass, he would storm off to the kitchen to find the 5 gallon jug of Kama Sutra oil and then change into his Latex outfit. Upon returning, he would pull my latex buddies, electrical toys and aligator clips from the drawer, attaching one set of electrodes to Sis's piercings and the other to the sheep tied to the bedpost. He'd crank on the juices and start towards.... Skreamer, who was tied over a sawhorse in the corner, moaning around his own ball gag, trying to mumble something about ethical treatment of sheep. His muffled cries were useless, because....... Justin My Homepage

I think it is pretty much DZO's consent here in the US. And sometimes it seems awfully easy to get, if they even care. Ooh, big camera talk from Skreamer, whose idea of "geeking for the camera" involves spreading his cheeks. Justin My Homepage

I think Clay just wants to be special, so he is getting a job where they will give him special education. He'll go to his special work training on the short bus, wearing his helmet. Justin My Homepage

Chickenhawk, This might not be what you want to hear, but I'm going to chime in with Mike, Kelly, Fred and others. Life is all about responsibility and choice. You can do whatever you want, as long as you take responsibility for your actions. You want to smoke pot frequently despite the negative effects? Fine. That is your choice. Just suck up and take responsibility for your actions. Don’t expect other people to support you. Don’t whine about not being able to find (or hold) a decent job. Don’t whine about not having enough cash to skydive. You made the choice, and you are stuck with the results. I’m not going to debate the details about marijuana use with you. Leaving out the addiction issue (because I’m not knowledgeable about it), I’ll focus on three indisputable facts: 1) Pot costs money that could be better spent, in your situation. 2) Smoking pot regularly will decrease your ability to find and hold jobs. 3) Frequent smoking of marijuana (or tobacco) isn’t good for you. Why wouldn’t your parents be annoyed? I’m sure supporting a child because that same child can’t support himself isn’t what they want to be doing with their money. Your behavior is infringing on their choices and limiting their life. That sucks. If you were living on your own, supporting yourself, they would have a lot less to bitch about. For that matter, so would you. Take a hard look at how you are living. Is it what you want? (Probably not.) Start making changes to enable you to get where you want. I worked hard to get through school, including a lot of night school while holding a full time job. I found a good job that utilizes my skills. Working hard at my job has rewarded me with raises and bonuses. Now, I can go for a weekend at the DZ when I want. If I feel like bullshitting and socializing instead of packing my gear, I can pay to have it done. My effort has paid off by giving me the choice to do mostly whatever I want. Your choice of habitual marijuana use appears to have closed off most of your other options. However, you can still choose to quit. A friendly link for you: http://www.marijuana-anonymous.org/ End of rant. I hope you work things out. There are people willing to help if you let them. Justin My Homepage -
Umm... Sis.... How did this help you quit smoking? Seriously, I'm lucky enough to have never started smoking. Watching my grandmother die agonizingly of emphysema when I was little cured me of ever wanting to experiment with tobacco. However, I'm sure once you have started, it is pure hell to stop. I really respect the people that fought and won, and are now smoke-free. [LOUD APPLAUSE] Justin My Homepage

Yeah, but the gravel road at the end would really suck for Clay. Baltimore, huh, Clay? Shit, that is only about 50 minutes from where I live. Your closest DZs would be Delmarva and Cross Keys. Justin My Homepage

Dave, For those of us that are pretty much skydiving newbies, could you explain what "bag strip" is in simple terms? I have a vague idea, but I could be wrong. Thanks! Justin My Homepage

We are workin' on it. You wrote a damned novel. -
It isn't a problem, as long as you don't inhale the gerbil.

I would post a picture of a Wings container, but I jump a Reflex. You want a picture of that instead? Justin My Homepage

Was the 262 recorded with the Pro-Track in a helmet or leg-mounted in a clean airstream? It is fast in either case, but I'm curious. Justin My Homepage

I just saw something about it go by. I don't see any rush to run out and get it. My pop-top stays rock solid and tight all the way through a repack cycle. I think that has as much to do with your rigger and the container/canopy size combination as with the design. Some people have loose fabric all over, and others are really snug. Those in the former category might consider the mod. Just my $.02, and I'm no rigger. Justin My Homepage

I haven't used an F5, but I love F4s. Yeah, they are heavy, but they are also reliable and do damned near everything you could want. Another advantage they have over some of the other models is that they use standard (AA, I think) batteries. You don't have to worry about scrounging for some weird lithium battery in the middle of nowhere. I'll probably pick up a used F4 as my next camera purchase. Just another $.02 for you, Viking. But a much, much better one when you are breathing hard, Sis Justin My Homepage

Jealous? Nope. We are playing hard to get. Justin My Homepage

Yeah, maybe. But you Founded one of them. That would be embarassing if you ask me.

I think they had to annex the upper and lower intestines to make room for that thing! And Skreamer refused anesthesia. He wanted to feel it.

Skreamer, you are in denial again. How many times have you been told, the first step is admitting your problem. I found a number of 12-step programs that might suit you.
