That just means there is room for improvement. Justin
-
Yes. I never did have your level of experience.
-
Especially when you consider that you're the only person so far who clicked yes on the animal question. How many of your other experiences related to "Dollie"? Justin

Although I'm not eligable, many skydivers with low purity will undoubtedly offer to help those who are handicapped by a high purity. Justin
-
11.8%. I'm shocked at how impure it says I am. I didn't think I'd done that much. I think I'd only missed three items, two of which I have no desire to do. One of them is even illegal where I live. Justin
-
Two for me, plus one of their other shirts. HH, I hope you are getting kickbacks for the other stuff we buy there.
-
More like criminal Super-Villian. We'd just get rid of him once and for all, but leaving him around for practice keeps the real superheroes in shape. Justin

Heh. I get eWeek and Wired at work. I wasn't counting those, just the home stuff. If we are including work, throw in CIO, eWeek, Wired, Windows 2000, and some others. Justin

Brandon, I was referring to the awards ceremony itself.

Right now, I get: Parachutist Skydiving (soon to expire) Cooks Illustrated My wife and I share: Parenting (baby on the way) Washingtonian (Washington, DC regional) I've cut way back, because I was spending too much time reading magazines. At various times, I also used to subscribe to: Smithsonian Air & Space Scientific American SmartMoney Business 2.0 Forbes Individual Investor PC Magazine Justin

Billy, I hear ya. I had no plans to watch it, but my wife was, so I stopped in for about an hour's worth of heckling. They are totally spoiled rich brats. The "sincere" flattery of their fellow actors is a bunch of crap. Inmates on Court TV would be more sincere. Justin
-
Wouldn't that be more like Mighty Mouse? Justin

"The Academy" is a group of total imbecils that are completely bribed and motivated by hype. It isn't about movies at all. It is about Political Correctness, ratings and money. Can you tell I'm not a fan? Justin

I hate to be the one to do this, but..... [rant] I call BS on the whole question. If you are as serious as you claim, why the hell are you asking here? Look to a more appropriate forum. Regardless of that, you need to come across as literate and well spoken if you wish to succeed. If you are willing to put in as much effort as you claim, then you should be telling us what business schools are cited as being tops in their fields, as well as which one is more suited to the specific sub-field in which you plan to operate your grand endeavor. Rather than just throwing out a vague troll, ask some specifics, or offer up more information so people can offer pertinent opinions. [/rant] Justin

I think the truth is somewhere in the middle, but neither side is willing to give. The RIAA and MPAA are arrogant as hell with schemes to make people pay repeatedly for things they bought. If I have a CD, why can't I rip it and keep it on my computer so I can shuffle through thousands of songs? Why should it be illegal for me to make a mix CD for myself, from CDs that I bought legally? On the other side, the whole "free music" movement is equally out of touch with reality. Making money is probably the main motivator for musicians to take the time and effort to go professional. Admittedly, the system between the musician and the listener needs a lot of help, but the profit motive must remain to give performers incentive. Answers to the situation? I dunno. If I did, I'd be the rich one. Justin

True, but you don't have to start a new thread for each thing you find amusing in the middle of some other thread. For some of us, seeing the duplicate wastes valuable potential posting time.

Me either. That said, if the dog raises no problems and is kept 100% responsibly, nobody would probably ever know. But if you choose to take that risk and fail, you deserve the consequences as if you had personally done whatever your dog ended up doing. Dave, I know you were just starting conversation. I was just giving you shit. Justin
-
I agree with you, hottamaly. "Normal" pets don't do that sort of thing. And by training and coercing an animal to react that way, I'd say the owner is responsible for the animal's actions. Evidently, the jury agreed. I'm glad. Dave, to put it blunty, your analogy sucks. Try this one: It is like leaving an armed Claymore in the hallway. Whether by setting the mine or by training a dog, the result was the same. Something was made to be lethal and then handled carelessly. (Devil's advocacy is fine, but get it to make sense.

Congratulations! Just stay away from the interns..... Oh Shit! You are an intern. Stay away from desks, cigars, senators...... Justin

Just think of Sis at Sears in the riding mower department... Sis to Clerk: "How many horsepower does this sybian.. I mean, lawnmower, have?"
-
Riding mower with a powerful engine? Justin

Ditto. The stunts look fun. I know I'd actually pay them to do a lot of stuff like that. Justin
