Just don't forget the video!
-
Me too. I just had a mental picture of him lying in a barn, on a bed of straw, whispering sweet nothings in a sheep's ear, while it bleated at him.
-
I don't know Emma, so can't comment on the latter, but in regards to Skreamer, you have my sympathy. But look at the bright side... your physical relations with him can't take much time out of your day, so you can still be really productive.
-
Skreamer... inane rantings? NO! You can't be serious!
-
Actually, he isn't. There were post whores before Clay arrived on DZ.com. He is just a super post whore and surpassed them all.
-
Holy Crap, people! Stop encouraging him. Bad Clay! Bad. Roll over. Play dead.
-
Clay is right! (Shit, I hate saying that.) And afterwards, you hotel-manager types can go try out all the beds in the place.

That is pretty bizarre, but then again, maybe it makes sense for a place with a 40% HIV infection rate. If 3-7 year olds learn about HIV and AIDS from Sesame Street before those of them not already infected hit puberty, maybe they'll have a chance. Strange things for strange times....

Your "poor expression skills" in English are a hell of a lot better than mine in German, which consist of snippets learned from reruns of Hogan's Heroes and old war movies.... Schultz: "Ya voll, herr commandant!"
-
I have to disagree with you, Phil. Absolute Zero is reached regularly, in the icy stares of women after Clay has just tried a cheesy pickup line on them in a bar....
-
Oh... that. I thought you meant web jumplogs. You mean skydivers with web journals that just happen to include their jumping. Right? If so, than I am definitely not suited. I couldn't keep up, no matter how short the daily entries were.
-
http://www.jennandjustin.com/skydive-jumplog.asp That the kind of thing you are talking about?
-
Bud Light over Rolling Rock? Strike One!
-
Viking, Have we mentioned that you are a hopeless brown-noser?
-
Dave, http://www.jennandjustin.com/skydive-myrig.asp You don't think I'd forget that, do you?
-
Thanks. To continue Post-Ho'ing..... www.jennandjustin.com/files/103-0320_MVI.AVI Video with sound. May require a recent media viewer. Oh yeah.... 8.3 mb, so not really modem-friendly.

She must be a freeflier, because her suit doesn't have any grippers.
-
[jealous] I must be in the wrong line of work. Either that or my mistake is having a house. There is no way I could spend that kind of cash on jumping and still pay the bills. [/jealous] Wow. That is a lot of jumping.
-
Oh, shit! "Respectable" and me in the same sentence? The end of the world must be near! I figure coming with me to the DZ and packing my rig will be part of her "household chores" by about 5th grade. She is going to earn that allowance money!

I'm more coming from where PilotDave is on this one. So far, I have 78 jumps in over two years. I don't have goals of x hundred jumps per year. My goal is more like, "Avoid having to do recurrency jumps." With a minimum of a 2-hour drive to the nearest DZ, a wife and new baby, the hard part is finding time to get away and jump. It also seems like many people have tons more leave time than I do, and are always taking off to go on skydiving trips. [whining] Must be nice. I'm stuck in my office all the time, so I just post whore instead. [/whining]

I can't be the only person that is amazed by the fact that Skreamer hasn't yet pitched in on this thread about which style of ladies underwear "he" prefers to wear.
-
You're right Sunshine, it has been awhile since I've been to a laundromat. I'm glad your needs are being taken care of so well. Should that ever change, I'm sure there would be a line of guys willing for you to sit on them and feed them quarters instead of the washer anyway...

Lisa, You are misunderstanding what I am saying. I do practice my emergency procedures, and I am confident that I will do the right thing when the time comes. However, it doesn't matter how confident I am, I still don't know as a certain fact that I will act appropriately. Despite your 900-some jumps, neither do you, as you haven't had a cutaway either. As soon as you have a cutaway and execute your procedures flawlessly (as I'm sure you will), come back and say, "Damnit, Justin, I told you so!" That will be great, and I'll be happy you did. All I'm saying is that we are both in the same boat in that confidence is irrelevant in this case because (fortunately) neither of us have ever had to prove our ability. If all it took were confidence, rather than actual performance, many no-pull fatalities would still be with us.
