I am from Boston, the land where when people talk they talk. Where people listen to what you have to say and understand it. I have lived in many places my whole life and if there is one thing I have learned....its very difficult to relocate to parts of the USA where the ideas and mindset is very different from where you spent the first 23 years of you life. 1) I am tired of people thinking I am mean spirited when all I do is bend over backwards, and sometimes compromise myself to help others out. 2) I am tired of people thinking I am condisending when in a conversation I ask a question, or bring up of something that in my past reminds me of what they are saying. 3) I am tired of people thinking I never listen to a single word they because I am not all chill and blocking the rest of the world out....news flash...You can here what the person is saying, store it in your mind, and discuss it even though you looked away for 2 seconds. 4) I am getting tired of the fact that I speak with an accent and just because you all cant understand me when I say certain things doesnt mean it gives you permission to mimick it, or question it. Words often times have different meanings in different places...dont tell me my use is wrong and or stupid because it is different. I have lived Denver for over 1 year now, and a good majority of people I meet say those things about me, and I am getting fucking tired of it. I lived in Georgia, same thing happened there, florida meant the same thing...happens everywhere except New England.
