Punky Brewster! And I hate to admit this, but I used to get to stay up late and watch Dallas and Dynasty .... I'm not the only one, right? Alanab ... thanks so much for mentioning Jem and the Holograms ... I had forgotton all about that!

When I was first married (now divorced .. whew!) … a BLINDING HOT BRIGHT PINK pillow with our names in embroidery from my well meaning mother in law. She also covered every surface in my house with hand made doilies during her stay. Every day I would come home and find I had lost even more territory to white lace and crochet. Every table got covered, every cookie tin and canister got a little cover, I got a toilet paper hat for the spare roll of toilet paper ….

I can't tell you a lot about the city of SF itself, except that it is a very expensive place to live and parking and traffic are very difficult! Getting around the city can take some time, I suggest getting a place near his school. Sf is divided into districts, each with their own personality.
