    From what I understand it's not a public event and given the media attention focused on this incident, I fully support Jaye's choice not to post the info and encourage everyone to be judicious in posting information about services out of respect for the family and friends who want to gather together in peace to remember our loved ones. If the location isn't the DZ, then posting the time and date will allow others the chance to remember at the same time, wherever they might be, while still keeping the location and event private.

    Good article, but I'm trying to figure out what the heck the CDC is doing studying gun laws. Last I checked, "homicide" as a cause of death wasn't contagious.

    Your only sure bet is rearranging the furniture or buying a rug. I can't think of anything that will remove the paint but leave the carpet undamaged.

    MS Paint, image, flip/rotate, rotate by angle - 180 degrees, save, done. LOL. I know how to do it. I just didn't have the program. MS Paint is not installed on my work computer (neither is solitaire).

    Hey, everyone... These critters seem to keep falling into my lap. My friend has found herself in possession of a very sweet black and white kitten. His mother was a stray, and has abandoned him, and my friend can't keep him because of allergies. He's two months old and has had his first round of shots and has been to the groomer and the vet and is free of fleas and parasites. He's a very sweet kitten with tons of personality, and needs a good home!

    I don't want a motorcycle. I wanted a vespa. I understand but a Kawasaki Ninja 250R out performs a Vespa in every area (price, mpg, 0-60, etc...) and you are just as likely to get hurt or killed on a Vespa as you are a Kawasaki Ninja 250R.

    Portofino Green is a light, silvery green. I think you're right about the colors, though... most people would say it's light green or green/silver.

    That's the promo pic. I WISH I went to Rome. I don't have pics of mine yet; I've only had it since Sunday. No, I'm not going to ride it on the freeway, even though it's freeway legal. It's for around town, so I can save my car for the freeway. My car has 130,000 miles on it, and it's a Ford, so I expect it to die at any time, and I figure if I'm using the Vespa for the local errands, the car will last longer.

    I don't live very close (about 2 hours away), but I think carrying my rig on the vespa wouldn't be a good idea.

    No, it's not a new gun (yet... I'm still drooling over the HK USP Compact 9mm). It's a Vespa GT 200, in Portofino Green. I figure it'll save me a lot of money in gas if I use it to get around town, since it gets 70 mpg, and it's got lower emissions (.40 pounds per mile less than the average car). Plus, it's damn fun to drive!
