James has a friend whose dog barks at the rain. The dog is so into guarding her turf that she doesn't want the raindrops invading her territory.
-
My blue heeler does that. Only she thinks i need to know about the wind blowing and everything else she hears Being yappy was something I was very concerned about, and the breeder explained that he's pretty good at learning what normal noises are (people walking up the stairs, neighbor making noise, etc) and what are not normal noises (glass breaking, someone knocking, etc) and will differentiate. =)

Mine is 6 pounds 8 ounces. I need a dog small enough for the cat to boss around.
-
I don't have a yard for a big dog.
-
Your link goes to his website, not the story... do you have a link to the news story?
-
Some paps are yappy, others aren't. His breeder says he isn't and will only bark if he hears something he thinks you need to know about rather than just barking at everything.
-
He has a kennel name, but I don't like it, so I'm going to call him something else. I'm just not sure what yet. I find that if you keep an animal around, they usually name themselves somehow.

I'm getting a dog today. He's a 16 month old papillon. I pick him up tonight. I've never had a dog before. I'm excited!

students:what to do with a bitch prof?(long)

It's not worth risking her GPA in a class where the grading is extremely subjective and the professor doesn't like her. -

Drop the class. You aren't having fun, which is the reason you took the class. You don't need it to graduate. Just drop it, and try to find a class that starts mid-semester (check the online ones) that meets your course requirements. -
I was 16.

I'll ask him if I see him. I'm usually not home when the mail comes.
-
It's a condo complex. There is no front office, and there are no names on mailboxes. =(
-
No. I know what they look like, but I never actually met them. They weren't really friendly.
-
If they want him back, hopefully he will have a microchip or they will see the signs.
-
If he was an outdoor cat, I would have seen him around. He looked lost, like he didn't know what to do in the great outdoors. I think he was an indoor kitty who escaped or was dumped.
-
I'm going to stick a sign up in the laundry room explaining what happened and to contact the rescue if they want him back. I don't know who they are or how to contact them. The rescue is going to take him to the vet where he'll be scanned for a microchip.

All I know is that they are renters. I don't even know who owns the place.
-
I found a rescue that will take him in! They're on the other side of the county, and I have to drive him down there, but the price of gas is a small price to know he will have a home where he will be warm and safe. I just have to catch him!
-
I wish I could have brought him inside out of the rain, but he hasn't been tested for feline leukemia, and I don't want to risk my own cat. I'm going to try to catch him tonight and take him down to the vet.

I think that today I have completely lost any remaining faith I had in humanity. My downstairs neighbors have apparently moved and left their cat behind. The poor little thing was out in the rain all night and this morning was sitting under my window, just crying. He was wet, cold and hungry. I fed him, and am calling rescues to try to find someone that can take him in. He's light grey with white paws and chest, and once clean and dry, he'll be gorgeous! He's very sweet and came right up to me when I approached with cat food. I don't remember the last time I was this angry. I just don't understand how someone can do this to an animal in their care.

So he isn't a democrat because he's related to republicans? Aren't people allowed to think for themselves?

Maybe try to connect chemistry to skydiving? Look at the chemicals involved in making f-111 and zp and the performance differences? or, are there any chemicals inside cypres cutters? you could look at how the use of those chemicals has changed fatality ratios...

You might want to take your phone number off the internet...
