  1. Didn't your firm have a fiduciary responsibility to warn these people about there spending habits and work to secure their future. Depending on the relationship with the client, I think your firm let them down to some degree. I know that some clients will do what they want when they want; but, it is your duty to warn them of the consequences of their actions. It's a shame; but, that is the life they chose. They had nothing before and now they have a house. So back to work they go. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  2. Other than speeding, I was a perfect visitor. So I have to hit the Embassy this week. I guess I should bring some $$$ The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  3. I have a sneeking suspicion that it may be a speeding ticket. That was the only thing I was doing bad while I was there. A new M3 and all day to drive. I was over 250km/hr quite a few times. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  4. So I get this in the mail. It's from Liestal Switzerland. Seems to be some sort of fine. Sehr geehrter Herr Leonard Mit rechtskraftigem Stafbefehl wurden Sie zur Bezahlung der nachfolgend aufgefuhrten Busse, Kosten und Gebuhr Verurteiilt Busse von CHF 400 Urteilsgebuhr von CHF 50 Verfahrenskosten von CHF 70 Noch Offen Bertag CHF 520 Wir bitten Sie hoflich, den ausstehenden Betrat innert 15 mit Tagen mit beiliegendem Einzahlungsschein zu uberweisen. Mit freundlichen Grussen Bezirksstatthalteramt Liestal Buchhaltung, B. Donatz Can't think what I did wrong on that trip. I thought I was on my best behavior. Oh well, I would like to get it translated before I start to look into it. I would like to know what it is. I was going to stop the Swiss embassy; but, I don't want them to lock me up. And 520 CHF is about $400 so it must have been something good. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  5. I'll let you play with mine for a while. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  6. Where the hell is Ivan when I need him. Good catch. Sorry. Carry on The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  7. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13289882/wid/11915773?GT1=8211 Who knew?!?!?! I doubt I could handle that diet and keep my job;but, I guess I could just say I am trying to prevent cancer. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  8. That's not bad at all. It'll buff out. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  9. Do not touch the 401K money. You are only going to screw yourself in taxes. They will with hold 20% of it before you get it. Just roll it into an ira. That money will be worth something one day if you don't touch it. I know it might be fun to screw your old job; but, why sully your name. Go in, give your two weeks and don't worrry about it. The only thing you carry everyday is your good name. Protect, it is very valuable. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  10. The Ranch is home. I must have been at the Ranch when you were there. I am the god of wind and rain. I've been jumping at Sky's the Limit a little bit too. It's tough to be popular. I forgot who the guy was. It was some no descript little car. Might have been a white escort. I got it opened with a coat hanger and some gaffers tape. If I was stealing it, I just would have broken the back window. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  11. I've been to your DZ, they treated me well too. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time I was there (Valentines day boogie 2005) and only one load got up in the Helicopter. Then since I was from NY, I had to help some guy break into his car. I did get a shirt though. That made it all worth while. Actually, you have a nice place there. The food at the golf course is pretty good to. I don't think they through up in the chili though. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  12. This weekend, I had three people come to the DZ with me. Saturday the winds were crappy and some low clouds most of the day. So we watched movies, juggled, teased each other, etc, etc, etc. Three potential tandems go home and say, I wish we could have jumped; but, it wasn't a bad day. Sunday, only Katelyn came back. Jessica and Grant had other plans on Sunday. Arrive at the DZ at 10:45, Katelyn is in the air at 11:30.
  13. I called at 2:00 and I was told 20mph winds and clouds 6-7k. I figured the 20 mph winds would be enough to make me sit. We know about the Joe holes that magically open up. I'll be back at Sky's the Limit Tomorrow then back at the Ranch next week for the Scrambles. B The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  14. I went to Skys the Limit instead of the Ranch. Hung around, watched Team America (Durka Durka), chatted, saw some old friends, made some new ones. And now I'm getting ready to hit the City to eat. A nice day. DZ's can be fun on non jumping days.
  15. You should sleep with all her friends. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  16. I've bought my all my vehicles for cash. The cars, motorcycles, jetski, everything. Paying financing just pisses me off. I waited a long time to get my first new truck in 1999, still driving it. Bought the car two years later the same way. If you look at the difference between what you finance and the total of your payments, you will never finance or lease again. Also when you pay cash, it is real. Writing a $35,000 check is much different than a $400/month payment. I am saving for a new truck. I want a new truck; but, I don't have enough cash for what I want. So I will wait. A funny story. When I went to buy my 929 (motorcycle) they were tough to get in NYC. Go to the dealer. They have one left. I chat with the sales man. He says that the other customer is negotiating on the bike right now. I showed him a bank check for $6,000 made to cash and told him I'll write a personal check for the balance. Two hours later, I owned the bike. Cash is king! As far as the cash transaction reporting (over $10,000), you can put a $9,000 deposit, get a note and pay the note in several $9000 payments. Then you only pay the interest on a few payments.
  17. If you care about and trust the person, have at it. Funny, you might want to put your penis in her ass; but, god forbid she put a finger in yours. You might enjoy her rubbing your prostate. I guess you will never know now. Too bad you are so shy when it comes to sex. Your loss. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  18. Great - Sonic and Donna at the Ranch Pro Shop. From my first day jumping, they have done everything they could to help. Answer stupid questions, answer difficult questions, provide shelter in the shop when I bring the rain. Their prices are good and they are great people. Bad - none so far. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  19. Dom, A little harsh; but, all true. I had an instructor that told me that from the moment I left the plane, my main goal was to save my self. He told me that I should not consider my skydive done or to be totally safe until I was back in the packing area. I used to laugh a little when he told me that. He ALWAYS said, "I am very serious. You can die in a skydiving related incident up until you drop your rig to pack it." In two years, I have seen a friend break his back and femur and have to learn to walk again. I have a friend who broke a femur and tore her aorta while visiting another DZ. Not easy thing to see or deal with. For me it meant that I take skydiving much more seriously. It is fun; but, it is all about risk management and preparation. I am lucky that I have a few people that I trust to seek guidance from. The driving a car comparison just doesn't sit right with me. I would say that skydiving is the single most dangerous thing I do on a regular basis. I love the sport; but, I know that the great feelings and wonderful people must be blanaced out by something. If there are great highs, there will most likely be great lows. God Bless to all our friends that were lost this weekend. Hugs and Vibes to there friends and families. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  20. Thanks for the reply. I thought I would ask here since it is a common camera used in skydiving. I also trust skydiver to tell the truth. I'll expand my research. Thanks, Brian The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  21. I am buying a camera for general usage, not skydiving. I can get either camera pretty cheaply on E-bay. This will be my first cam. Any opinion on these cameras? Thanks, Brian The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  22. Dare I say it....... Do you have video????? The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  23. I'll bring a case of something nice. It's always better to be a good guest. I'm excited. Now I need some people to do some 2 or 4 ways to work on my belly flying. See you soon. Brian The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  24. Your loss. I was going to bring you favorite beer. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
  25. So it looks like it will be Raeford. I really enjoyed Carolina Sky Sport; but, this is a chance to try something new. Yes I will bring beer.
