I'm pretty sure it means "embed youtube video objects" as in this is a good place to find or place an index of skydiving videos that are interesting to people who use this site. Youtube's indexes are filled with whuffo chaff. Maybe the word "filter" would fit better than "stream" Chill a bit. This is a forum, not an RFC. Is that practical enough? Owned by Remi #?

I disagree. Calling a solution the "best" because it's the least complex is naive. It's not the "best" solution in all cases.... it's only the "least complex" solution. Is the least complex car the safest? Crumple zones, air bags, seat belts... all that adds complexity. Is it the "best" for the driver, the manufacturer, or the mechanic? "Best" changes depending on the angle you look t it. Often, in real world engineering, the solution that's "best" is the one that provides the "best balance" of cost, complexity, usability, and maintainability. Owned by Remi #?

You haven't made 200 jumps so it's beyond me how you could know that. I know a lot of reasonably intelligent whuffos who can grasp the risks involved with wearing a camera. Does that mean it's okay for them to wear a camera on their first jump? The 200 jump recommendation isn't based on cognitive ability. It's based on the observation of a great many highly experienced jumpers who have agreed that the average skydiver has gained a level of situational awareness appropriate to adding more tasks to a skydive at around 200 jumps. There will always be exceptions and above / below average skydivers. I noticed a huge change in my own situational awareness at around that many jumps. YMMV. Owned by Remi #?

I'll quote you again: So.... there are 2 possible outcomes in your statement. You live or you die. Sure there are variables, but the number of jumps you make only exposes you to those variables, it doesn't change your odds. I can make 1 or 1000 solo jumps with the winds under 10PMH and my odds don't change. I have to make a bad decision like jumping with 25 complete strangers at a new DZ with an unfamiliar rig in 35MPH gusty winds to change my odds.... Which makes blanket statements like "1 in 100000" jumps will be fatal simply untrue. I can make only 1 jump and still make really bad decisions that skew the odds. It's too complex a system to give such a simple answer. Owned by Remi #?
