No, having the eyes farther apart improves peripheral vision and decreases the ability to sense the distance of an object directly ahead. Owned by Remi #?

One gender specific issue that I'm aware of during canopy flight and landing is depth perception. Men have evolved with their eyes somewhat closer together than women's on average because the men with better depth perception were better hunters (particularly with cast weapons) Women have evolved with better peripheral vision than men because they were often in situations (gathering) where seeing danger approach from the side was more important. The average woman's eyes are farther apart than the average man's. Better depth perception leads to learning landing skills faster for men. Owned by Remi #?

Well... Just maybe there's a group of gay skydivers who talk amongst themselves on another forum... and maybe one or two of them said "Hey, let's get together for a boogie" And maybe someone else suggested that it might be a good idea to get a feel for how a few DZs would react to having a bunch of openly queer skydivers show up for a party. It would be poor form to take a DZ by surprise, eh? And maybe it seemed like a good idea to make it clear in general that the boogie was being organized by gay skydivers so that no one who might take "offense" would stumble in and pitch a hissy fit. And maybe it was recognized that there are a lot of gay folk who might never consider going to make a first skydive because they had no idea how they might be treated when they arrived at a DZ...so here's an opportunity to be public about a gay friendly place to come make a jump for the first time. I dunno....maybe that's why Edited for spelling Owned by Remi #?

I really don't see it stated anywhere in the original post that D license holders are going to be allowed to teach or instruct students. It says that they can jump with them. That leaves a unlicensed jumper with 3 potential options. Solo, get a coach, do up to a 4-way with at least 1 D license holder. Am I missing something? Owned by Remi #?

But they specifically claim to use ASN, not AGPS. ASN does use accelerometers to calculate location while the satellite signal is blocked. Owned by Remi #?

Do you oppose same-sex marriage for religious reasons?

Most of the threads here that start with a discussion about gay marriage usually end up, at least for a time, with someone bringing childbirth into the mix. IMO, it usually because they can't win any of their other arguments and they need to redirect to one that they feel pretty confident about. Owned by Remi #? -

MB, Homosexuality is not a choice. Being "out" is. Some people choose to hide their sexuality all their lives. Some people are open about it their entire lives. Some test the waters, find that they can't handle being "out" for whatever reason (usually religious conflict) and go "back in." Those people are "ex-out", not "ex-gay" If sexuality was a choice then straight people could choose to be gay also. Could you? Your are certainly physically capable of having a same-sex relationship. Are you emotionally capable? Owned by Remi #? -

C'mon.. that's mean...don't you think that a "Proffessional Student" deserves more respect than that? Owned by Remi #? -
If you do an in-place upgrade with a retail copy of XP you won't lose anything. Your applications (Works, etc) will still be there and functional. Just be sure to do an upgrade and not a new installation. Owned by Remi #?

But you can do a repair install with a retail copy and regain access without losing anything. As far as finding out ahead of time is the software is BIOS locked, ask the manufacturer before you buy. Owned by Remi #?
