Turn on the golf channel. I have friends who are golfers who record the golf channel to use to fall asleep. I can fall asleep to the golf channel regardless of the hour. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

Fat is good, I purposely set out to gain weight to be able to fall with fast falling people. Gained 10 lbs. (from 115 to 125). Now I can keep up (with 20 lbs. of weight). Fat is definately good if you are a skydiver. Yay for you...keep eatin those home cooked meals. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

My son always gets out of tickets. He says that the cops get paid to go to court but they don't like to fill out paperwork, so you request a form, you first have to pay the fine, then you fill out the form and since the cops don't like paperwork they dismiss it and send you back your money. It's worked for my son every time and when he coached his sister it worked for her. Since I personally have not gotten a ticket for the last 20 years I have no personal knowledge - I only drive a Vette cuz it looks cool, I don't ever speed. I had so much fun learning to sit fly in the Vegas tunnel. Katie is an awesome coach and since she's also a kick ass freeflyer she was able to explain to me how flying in the air will be different from the tunnel. I got the basics down, so just need to work on moving forward, backward, up and down and turns. But at least I now have a feel for it so I'm confident with some minor adjustments I'll be able to do it. And I'm really glad I learned at the Vegas tunnel cuz trying to stay in the center where the air is was good practice and I also think I'm less beat up than if I'd learned in a tunnel with wall to wall air cuz I didn't have to worry about hitting the walls. If I went out of the air I just fell on the cushions and Katie dragged me back into the center. Anyway, just wanted to report that I DID learn to sit fly in the Vegas tunnel and it was such an awesome experience I'm going back this weekend to fly some more! Yeah, everybody tells me how Elsinore is so friendly, well except for MJ who was banned from jumping there, but we won't go there, I'm not doing his camps anymore, not for that reason, I just wasn't getting as much out of them as I'd have liked. Anyway, I am hoping my new rig comes soon and I can do a jump at Elsinore before the Chicks Rock boogie. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

I've only ever jumped at Perris. I'm really looking forward to the Chicks Rock boogie at Elsinore, but I'm worried that I won't find the landing area, etc. Does anyone else have this same kind of jumping at a different DZ anxiety? Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

Would post a pic but I am waiting on mine too. Due any day, actually overdue, but had a weight pocket added so think that delayed it. But it's an Infinity, black, purple and silver. It's gonna be beautiful. I can't wait
