I read on here that a cypress would cost me about 800 (new) First I don't know wheather to get a 1 pin or 2 pin (if there is a 2 pin) what is the difference? I was just quoted $1200 for a cpyres 2 expert 1pin! Is this normal? Am I looking at the wrong kind or something?

I have landed OFF a couple of times, I tend to call myself WayOff now For some reason I love landing near the plane In 2 cases I have said to myself plane or water, hmmmm?? I did manage to brake turn to the ground in the middle. Landed on my feet in just enough time to look over at the pilot giving me a head shake The next 2 jumps of that day when I landed before the plane I managed to hit my target, something about that Otter that gets my blood pumping I guess Brake turns are a good thing in clutch situations (for me so far at least) But the best way for me so far is getting my pattern down at the proper alti, doing that can save you some heartache... P.S Don't take my advice too seriously because I only have about 16 jumps now and I am on my 5th beer of the night

Yep, I ride a 01 R6! I have been riding a little over a year now. I love it sooo much, but, it doesn't even come close to the feeling of jumping. Not even a fraction. I was going for the 170 because it is the 1:1 wingload. Maybe a bit less because I am 160lbs. I will talk to my instructors about it. Thank you all for your advice!

I don't have very many jumps but so far it was the sun setting when I was about 4k. Sometimes I get so busy I forget to stop for a second and appreciate (Q the ocean sounds and cheesey music)

By the way, I have 16 jumps under my belt. I weigh 160lbs. I have flown a Sabre 170 and I liked it. I have yet to fly a Sabre2 170 though. I have flown the 170 for about 8 jumps now.

I am having trouble trying to get my hands on a used Sabre 170, I hear that this is a great canopy. Is there another 170 that would come close to it or should I hold out until I find one?

What he said, Many congrats!!! Its a wonderful thing having great JM's it makes everything feel smoother. I 2nd that!! I had the same feeling when I started but now after 16 jumps I find myself drifting off thinking about that feeling and jumping. Its amazing, keep on truckin and keep us posted!

Hola! I have yet to meet you but I am sure that wont last long, I spend every spare moment I have at the DZ. I was out there Friday but NOOOOOOO the weather had to be bad. I waited at home on the edge of my seat but NOOOOOOO it had to stay nasty. I wake up this morning the day I have to work and behold the weather is P E R F E C T ! ! ! ! ! ! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that thats out of the way. I would like to try the space suit on, I am not going to have money to buy a suit for awhile though I just ordered a rig, reserve and in the process of getting a main and cypress. I am about as broke as any one could be. Thank you for your input though and I hope I will get a chance to meet ya one day soon.

I tried on a Medium Bonehead helmet. It didn't really fit but the padding felt nice. I have herd good things about the Z1 full face so I was just wondering if that quality carried over to the freefly helmet.

Alot of ppl don't like him but I will see ANYTHING that Terintino (sp) has to do with. He is amazing!!!!!!!!! Cant wait to see it!!!!!

I am deciding between the Z1 freefly helmet or one of the bonehead's. I have tried on the boneheads gunner and its pretty nice. Anyone have the Z1? Is it comfortable?

Does anyone here use it? It says its a bit of a snug fit compared to the other freefly suits so you don't float during transitions. I am in the market for a suit and I weigh 165lbs. I am guessing that I don't need something baggy but nothing super tight. If you do use the space suit, would you recommend it?

I know your not going to want to hear this because everyone says it but, R E L A X!!! The more fun you're having the better you will do, don't get frustrated and don't be afraid to ask questions.
