I got a 2001 Yamaha R6 a little over a year ago, it was my first bike. I bought all the proper gear and took the MSF. I love her soooo much. I tried riding her to the DZ once but for some reason riding to the DZ in traffic, then jumping all day, then riding back home in traffic seemed to be pushing it a bit. Me loves my bike!! P.S That is a crucial piece of advice, it has saved me before. Also can apply to flying your canopy too

I have the know how to put together my own pc. I don't want a mac because I have 2 other pc's that need to get along with my new one. I have over 40 gig's of clips between these 2 pc's, so a mac is not really what I want. I was just seeing if anyone had any opinions or suggestions regarding new editing boards and such. Thx for the info...

Major productions (as major as a dude at my level at least) I don't want it to be shabby when I do get there though. I don't want to spend more then 3k.

I need some advice. I have been editing with smaller programs like Vegas Video for awhile but I am to the point where my current pc is not up to par. I would like to build one that suits editing better. Does anyone have any advice about this?

I am a waiter, kind of what I have to deal with. I HATE working as a waiter for the public!!! Its always my fault and most of the ppl there treat me like I am lower then they are, not like I want to be a waiter but its the best I can do right now. Stupid ppl/ignorant ppl make me mad. To make it worse I wait tables at the airport which = asshole rich ppl or pissed off regular folk. ARG...

The only weird part is my instructor told me to bring knee pads for the test, why would I need knee pads?

I got mine from Single Helix, I like it a lot. They have good customer service also. It was one day over due, they called me to let me know it got out a day late and adjusted the shipping cost. Good stuff..

Do a lot of the more experienced jumpers feel this way? If so, how are we (the inexperienced) supposed to learn. I myself want to but if ppl feel this way then they already have their minds made up about it.

I have only had 1 jump in the last 2 weeks!! It will be another week before I get a chance to jump again. Last weekend it was wind, this Friday its rain! I...cant....take...it.....AHHHHHHH!!!!!! What the HELL am I supposed to do for another whole week??? Its going to be the longest week EVER!!!!!! I feel depression kicking in.....

I just finshed reading a TON on RSL's here. I am going to do a lot of thinking before I make my final decision... UGH... My brain hurts, I need to stop reading all this... Sure RSL, nah no RSL, well maybe RSL, nah... AAD? WTF??? They just had to throw that in there to mix it up huh...

It was not his gear The one big thing I don't understand about RSL's is this, what if you cut away and your main isn't completely gone, your RSL pulls and your reserve is now a part of your main. I would think that not having one would be a bigger benefit for that reason. I am very new in the sport so I am just spouting what I have noticed, not trying to tell anyone anything. P.S What do you think are huge benefits to an RSL?
