Your right it is a very big deal in what type of bike he is looking at. An R6 will go up on one wheal before you can blink but a cruiser will not. Also most cruisers have a rpm much like a car. An R-6 will red line at 14000rpm and push 120 HP to the rear wheal. That’s a lot the bike is well under 400lbs dry. Yea we should wait to see what kind of bike he is interested in first. The average car doesn’t go 0-60 in less than 3 sec. I learned on dirt bikes started riding them when I was 15-16. And just moved up from an XR100 tp 125-250 and so on and so on I missed where he said he is going to take a riding course. If he is then your right take the course then choose what you want- I still would not get a 1000CC unless I have a seasons experience of riding at the least. I have moved from Iran to New York with out a job or money. Then I moved from NY to RI about 1.5 years ago. Change is good. It will be difficult at first but you are social and where ever you go there will be DZ close by so you will make friends easy. If you save up some cash it will be easier you won’t have any anxiety about money and can take your time finding a job you want. If you have zero riding experience. Get a cheep used 250 CC. Brand new there like 3-4K. 1000CC are out of the questions for some one with no experience. It is the equivalent of me jumping a VX70. Trust me on a 1000CC you will not be used to how fast you will hit 100MPH. 600 would be the Max and I don’t recommend it. Most Schools start people on 250CC. And here is yet another post that will guaranty I will never get laid. In my past experience maybe I am just A. unlucky or B. really really stupid (I know the woman reading this will choose option B) I feel woman have a need for Dramaz. Like there always has to be something going on. Either your fixing something or ruining something there is never a period where every thing can just be fine. I have noticed guys can be totally fine with chilling out and just having a good time or enjoying something when it is going great. Woman tend to questions it.
