Federal income tax is NOT the entire tax burden of anyone. True. We get taxed when we make it, taxed if we invested it, taxed when we spend it, and taxed just for owning certain items that we spent it on. This is why a flat tax on income for general services with federal sales taxes on specific services is the answer. FAA/ATC? Sales tax on flights, GA, etc. You don't fly, you don't pay. Military? Income tax. etc. etc. Won't be too long before you have that Value Added Tax (VAT) to go along with the regular taxes. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

2 distinct classes of folks here being lumped together. If we have people who have enough deductions and exemptions that 'should' be paying some income tax that needs to be addressed. Having a problem with a dogwood. Noticed last fall that there is a black substance caked on alot of the branches. Almost the same as consistency as a wasp nest but much darker. Tree is not looking very healthy right now. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

Very interesting thread. My first mal back in the day was a floater followed by no cutaway and reserve deployment on a Racer. PC sat in my burble for about 2-3 seconds...long enough to get my attention. Unless someone's changed the basic design of a spring loaded PC that'll always be a possibility. Easy now...I resemble that remark. I've been down there a few times and for me the bottom line is that I fucked up and now I get to ride the lightning. I know that's not gonna be a very popular sentiment. You went low...you're gonna dump low. It's only common sense otherwise you risk dumping into someone. Don't want to do that? Don't go low. I think you need to do some fact checking. Your boy has actually distributed more TARP funds than GWB, and I dislike TARP as much as I dislike the stimulus and the HC bill. BO has had a lot more time to spend TARP funds than GWB had. Do you have a point? My point goes towards my reference to 'billions of dollars' that have been spent. I always chuckle a bit...right before I throw up in my mouth a little, when people give this administration glowing reviews on it's handling of the economy they inherited. I would certainly fucking hope that the injection of hundereds of billions of dollars of our tax money, billed to the never ending line of credit we have, might have some positive affect. 123,000 jobs...so what are we talking? For me it was base voyeurism. I was disgusted and intrigued all at the same time. I can remember when I thought Heidi Fliess was a pretty good looking woman. Always knew Rodman was a freak but I was surprised that Tom Sizemore had fallen so far. It became obvious pretty early on that these folks spent the better part of their lives surrounded by enablers.
