Made most of my jumps on Racers with pull-outs. 2 times I rode my reserve because of a floating pud. WHen I finally replaced my rig...Racer with a BOC I'll also add caution to testing whether you can reach back and feel your closing pin. What you can do on the ground is very different than in freefall with no leverage. Back in the day a PC in tow was much more common than now. Or another way of passing off debts to our descendents? Not so much. Inflation can be a debt killer. Lets say you owe $100K on your mortgage and you make $40K/yr. Inflation comes along (more money chasing same amount of goods and services) and wages tend to rise....debt can be retired sooner. The move is mostly to spur our exports and this is why other countries are pissed. It forces them to make similar moves...which could cause a viscious cycle resulting in hyper inflation. The Germans have a had a taste of hyper inflation and they are one of the most vocal opponents of this move. Problem with increasing wages is it comes hand in hand with increasing prices. Might be great for debt but it takes the wind out of your paycheck. And the price increases always precede the advancing wages. I saw this move as a way to force people off their safe investments and into something a bit riskier by forcing the interest rate down. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

I boycotted today. I was asked if I was sure I wanted to avoid the body scanner. I explained I did not trust that my naked body wouldn't find its way to the internet. The pat down was made to sound like a punitive action for refusing the body scanner. They asked me to remove a bulky sweatshirt and when I pulled off the sweatshirt, rmy tshirt partially with the sweatshirt, I was told that I'd be fined if I exposed skin. I wasn't removing my Tshirt, but they were expecting it, or so it seems. As I was being felt up, I asked the TSA agent if he enjoyed being paid for groping people. He replied that I wasn't being groped, and that any further comments could result in "a bad day for me." TSA could stand for Tolerated Sexual Assault. I'm convinced it's a place pedophiles and perverts can find jobs and be exceptionally happy. Erstwhile, the terrorists already have won, and will win again. It must suck to be a rent-a-moron right now, and that's only going to serve to make them more defensive and likely to make more errors. Worst part of that whole encounter is they're just doing what they've been told to do. Can't imagine the amount of grief they're taking right now. There must have really been a credible source that said something was up. We're leaving for St. Martin second week of December. I hope this all settles down by then. Please don't dent the planet.
