    As much as I'm concerned for the East Coast this storm is being hyped by the media who love a good disaster story in the making with headlines like Sandy threatens 'catastrophe' or 'HISTORY-MAKING' SANDY STRENGTHENS, HOOKS LEFT TOWARD EAST COAST. I think this is all reaction forced by Katrina. No government official wants to look like they were unprepared, and the media is tired of talking about the election. Please don't dent the planet. Clearly you did want to see it (nobody held a gun to your head and forced you) and I think that even if the conclusions reached didn't match your own, you gained something of value from it.     It's not that I agree or disagree. I was hoping for some scientific information presented in a way that makes the argument other than this person is conservative, and they are tea party supporters. Other than 97% of scientists agree, there was nothing in that documentary to sway me to believe. I can take just about every point and turn it 180 degrees and point it at the greenies and it would fit. Not true, not even close. And yes, now I have to re-think Frontline as a source of un-biased information. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

    They made a very compelling argument. I wish it hadn't been so blatant. For Frontline it was extremely biased. It almost reminded me of the old 60 Minutes offering where they were able to edit anything said and make it look like something different. Not the level of journalism I expected.     Being that I'm in the upper reaches of the age spectrum here I can say that the US used to be unique and exceptional. I'm certain the 'trophy for everyone' crowd will disagree. Our own president does not want anyone to be exceptional, rather everyone to be equal. That's a ton of dumbing down for most. I grew up during the space program and can remember when there seemed to be no limit to what we could achieve if we were allowed. We were unique and exceptional. Unfortunately, for there to be a winner there must in turn be a loser. And being the winner has been turned around and is now equated with a negative. We can't have any losers because they'll feel bad so we need to eliminate the winners. When we started down that path we lost our uniqueness and exceptionalism. Please don't dent the planet.     So I've resigned myself to Obama being re-elected after last night's less than stellar performance by Mitt. I started thinking I should take a look at Obama's plan to get an idea of what to expect. I went to www.barackobama.com and was surprised to see on the landing page I'm required to give an e-mail and a zip code. Once I gave that the next page is requiring that I give a donation to go any further. Checked Mitt's site...looks like its designed by the same people www.mittromeny.com but at least I can see more info without ponying up any money. I wonder if the lemmings actually pay to go further into his site. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne
