The folks you are championing are such a minuscule percentage of the population. Not sure what the problem is. However if we’re talking about trans folks the question of male v female is more cut and dried until there is a complete transition and even then its mostly window dressing. But your goal seems to be to make it normal and mainstream. I don’t think it is.

If you don't mind no heat or running water. I can hear the cries now about putting people in substandard living conditions. One other thing. I think a lot of homelessness is due to mental health problems. I don't know about your area but here in flyover country there is a definite lack of support.

I'm in favor of anything that makes it easier. The real problem, and John does get a pass on this (I can't quite see him teaching 3rd graders about exit separation) is early education. Long before higher education is a choice.

Why do I think these kids didn't go to college? #1 reason is cost. Of course you can always just borrow the money. John lives a very good life and I don't begrudge him. But he was also part of the machine that created the very problem he uses to take shots.
