    Let me explain it to you in terms even you can understand. The Senate bill requires employers to verify the eligibility of their workers, DOUBLES the number of agents stationed on the southern border, and sets aside $4BILLION for border control. Cite please. Requiring employers to verify eligibility has been the law of the land since 1986. How many more agents? How do I know 4 Billion is enough? That used to be a big number but now it's chickenfeed. It's a 1200 page bill. Haven't we learned from the recent crap loaded on us from congress that this is just another tax increase in the form of immigration reform. Please don't dent the planet.     Let me try and explain it in terms you can grasp. I don't think anyone in here dismisses the need for immigration reform. The millions of illegals aren't going anywhere anytime soon and to ignore it is to our own peril. However, the reason there are millions of illegals here is we have no control of our borders...none. We tried this in 1986 and it has done nothing. We can legislate to our heart's content but not make a dent until we get control of our borders. If we enact this bill as it stands it will be a huge incentive for even more illegals to enter the country. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

    I've also frequently said that posting a url to a story, or worse to a video link, is one of the most banal posting styles on Speakers Corner. Particularly when it's obvious trolling. Lazier than the welfare people talked about here. But the amount of delusions presented are pretty funny. Bill keeps telling you guys that if you won't move on, you're going to lose again and again.     OK. So we realize that the politicians aren't going to voluntarily cut spending. We saw that with how they howled over the sequester. People who don't pay taxes aren't ever going to want taxes raised. It seems a minority of people understand we can't keep doing this to ourselves forever. What's the answer? In order for you to be completely accurate you'd have to qualify it by saying cut all funding to every lowlife, welfare loving, parasite POS living off the government like it's a career choice. They needn't be black. Plenty of white trash, latinos, and asians who fit the bill. And yes, it is a wet dream to have a black man saying it because white people aren't allowed to say things like that anymore. I'm quite sure you'd just rather we STFU and pay our taxes.     We need to keep in mind that some on here hate the US and what it stands for. This isn't about republican/democrat, liberal or conservative. Somewhere in their lives they feel the US has done them wrong and they hate those of us who still believe it's great here. Perhaps they've never left the country and have nothing to compare it to. Maybe their parents didn't think having a flag waving on their front porch was cool. They certainly never understood that you only appreciate things you've worked for.     Every minute an idiot posts a video to yubetube. It's easier to push the record button and rant then it is to write an actual essay. There are some pretty lousy senators out there, but most of them are still capable of writing. Even nazi skinheads are capable of making copies of badly written crib sheets. The best reason to use video is to make it as difficult as possible for anyone to respond with a reasoned argument. And Rush's words, coupled with his extensive history, makes me feel pretty certain I'm not missing anything here. And I certainly can better spent the X minutes that the video runs for.
