Yay.... I graduated AFF this weekend and got to do some solos and a coach jump. Even started getting signatures on my card for my A license. I love this sport. It puts a permanent grin on my face

0:5:At least 2 5 jumps. Most I ever made in one weekend. I graduated AFF this weekend. Did my first solo, first coach jump. Beer was bought, a robe and crown was worn. Fun was had. Time to start working on that A. Even managed to get a few things signed off on Sunday.

Symbolism of your current (or future) tattoo or piercing

As of now I only have one tattoo, but it so full of symbolism for me. My father died when I was a freshman in high school and I felt my first tattoo should be in honor of him. His name was Alex and he had a small tattoo on his arm that sail "Al" written in script. So I decided to get the same tattoo on my ankle. -

Question: what are you taking the derivative with respect to? I don't see how you get 2y-8x = 0 I would envision doing something like this: d(y^2 -4x^2)/dt = 0 2y*dy/dt - 8x dx/dt =0 then substituting all the values in 2*4dy/dt - 8*1*-2 = 0 Therefore dy/dt = -2 Just my $.02 Disclaimer: I haven't taken calc in a many years, but I used to be good at it.

I'm dumb too... I've "misplaced" my wallet too many times. There was the time at the Dallas airport. The night when I was out at a bar. Damn alcohol, makes me do stupid things Oh yeah and then there was the time it fell out of my bag at Kmart. Luckily this little girl found it and gave it to her dad and he was nice enough to come to my house and drop it off, with everything still in it. It was proof to me that there are still nice honest people out there

That should be fun... I lived in Brooklyn for the first 18 years of my life and in the NYC area for the next 6 but I never made it there. Maybe I'll check it out when I'm back there to visit.
