  4. I saw her in concert in 2000 and was really expecting a nice coffee shop sort or atmosphere with good acoustic songs, but it was all rockish... I was very disappointed. Plus the guys behind us puked all over our jackets

  9. I'm new to the Bay Area... but I think that Hollister is the closest to San Jose. Byron isn't far either. If you come to Hollister maybe I'll see you around.

  15. This weekend doens't work for me... I did graduate AFF, but I have a friend coming to visit, so there will be no jumping for me I'll have to wait for the next party

  17. I changed DZ's in the middle of AFF. I was on a tandem progression initially at Cross Keys... then I stopped in November b/c of weather. In January I moved to CA and started AFF here. My JM was cool about customizing the levels to what I had done. So in my experience changing DZ's worked out well.
  18. I guess I'm lucky at my DZ... there seems to be lots of coaches that are willing to do jumps with the students. As for all the things you need to recite about safety, etc, I find that after the last load of the day there are always coaches/instructors willing to to go over safety stuff with you. Thats just my personal experience. Good luck.

  21. Congrats... I just graduated too. Yay solo jumping and soon jumping with others for fun. I can't wait. Good luck, have fun.
