How well will a xfire2 129 fit into a mirage G3 m1?
-
I also believe DZ.com classifieds is a great place to buy and sell gear. I sold my complete rig on there a couple of weeks ago. I just can't find what I'm looking for on these classifieds. I did find a great deal on aerostore.com though. Thanks for all of the input!

In your opinion what is the best place to find used gear on the Internet. Besides DZ.com

What did you feel like on your first solo?
Caseadilla replied to SDiver218's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Congrats to ya! Those dives are the best. Sounds like you had a great time and handled it very well. Just remember it only gets better! Keep up the good work -
You would only need a pro rating if you were jumping into a stadium.

Whats the #1 skydive of your life?
Caseadilla replied to Caseadilla's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
What did you do on your most favorite skydive? -
Try jumping off your roof first with a bed sheet over your head

Move to the country, then you can jump onto your own land. You could even dig your own swoop pond

or cutaway, or gypsy moths

Leave the sport, are you kidding me! Like phreezone said, some of the best times I've had at the dropzone were in the 182 on the ride to altitude bs'ing and having fun. You know your a great skydiver when the pilot doesn't even turn around and he knows its you that produced that awful smell! Most all of those great times on the plane were followed by great skydives.

I also did static line, but my first jump off student status was one of the most exciting jumps I've ever had! I bombed the door and went semi head down, it was actually like a steep slow turning track. Then I did some barrelrolls and back and front loops. It was the best feeling to be so free and to do what ever I wanted to do on the dive after having a set plan for all of the jumps preceding it! Man I love this shit -
Hybrids are a hell of a lot of fun! There are many different ways they can be done. Try doing a hybrid jump where everyone gets to fly, and not just sit and watch everyone else have fun. Try launching a two or three way and have the third person take chest straps and hang. Then have the hanger come out of the stand back to belly. Break and have the two belly flyers do a 360 then back to the two way. Hanger come back in- take chest straps and back to stand. Then try rotating the whole formation 360 degrees. Then, when you get that down, try adding a stinger as the fourth man. Try something similar to this. Start out small and simple, and add new challenges as you go. Have a blast and be safe! All the information has been very helpful and its kind of what I was expecting to here. I have been thinking the same thing about maybe getting a canopy just a few sizes smaller than what I have right now and have it be fully eliptical. But the reason why I thought that you had to have a certain wingloading on the xfires is because that is what the icarus people told one of my friends. It may not be true, but I heard that if you load them to light at maybe 1.1-1.3 then it will die on you in the middle of your surf and you will have to hit pretty hard and run it out. Somebody inform me if this is correct. What besides a Stilleto would be a good stepping stone. I want something fast & elliptical that will lead me on the way to becoming a great canopy pilot like the big dogs! I fully agree with not making a severe jump in wingloading and shape, but I'm ready to take the NEXT step. Thanks for all the input, yall are a lot of help. Casey

Hey Dave whats up man? How'd the AOT boogie go down there? Wish I could of been there. EF is doing a hell of a lot better. We just need somemore freeflyers to comeout! I have jumped a friends Stilleto 150 a handful of times and he also has a 135 Im going to jump a few times. I'm thinking about a xfire2 129 which would put me at 1.45 which is not too radical of a leap in wingloading. Gotta GO Casey D-pending

I know this question probably comes up all the time but Im looking for advice for different sources. I currently have an Omega 185 and I am loading about 1.1 to 1. I have actually gotten some pretty descent swoops out of it. I think I've taken the canopy to its limits and I am ready to downsize. I am interested in the characteristics of the Crossfire2's flight capabilities. In order for me to get the performance that the crossfire is known for I will need to load 1.4 or higher. I believe in my flying ability enough to fly at this rate, but I would be jumping from 1.1 to 1.4. Just looking for outside input. Thanks Casey I've got this gay midget friend--he just came out of the cabinet

Conact Lenses- what is the best protection
Caseadilla replied to Caseadilla's topic in Gear and Rigging
What is the best goggles for contacts-- do any sunglasses work. In some goggles my contacts will blow out and land on my lens. Casey -
I would like to know the names of different Docks and how they are performed. Let me know your favorite. "You can't win friends with salad"-Homer
