I recently watched a Netflix documentary on Ritalin and Adderall. In the end, they stated that some are using micro-doses of psychedelics as performance enhancers. I agree. I never found any evidence of strychnine in LSD in any report that I read. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.

Ron, Saying stuff like that frightens some and pisses off others. You believe you are not of the corporeal world but, nonetheless, you seek to modify it for those who see it as the one world they will ever know. You believe you were created with a predilection to believe in a God. That's a very convenient view that, as ever, can only be defended by using belief in God as your starting point. I believe that a predilection to believe is a selected trait. My starting point is observing that the ancients had no science beyond religion and often no governance beyond religion. They were superstitious, fearful of nature and convinced that the supernatural was real. They trusted their shamans and priests to guide them. I have no trouble seeing how over time those traits might be saved by natural selection in the exact same way I can see how a fear of being too close to the edge of the cliff would be saved over time. Hence, I believe you have succumbed to your own natural wiring by cleaving unto the Jesus proposition. Of course it feels incredibly right and thoroughly natural to you. How could it not? My only desire to offer a path out of the suffering some experience by the weight of the worldly circumstances in which they are immersed. I forgot to mention above in my reply to kallend that my brain was definitely rewired in April 1983 when I asked for and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. 16 Mar 81 I was born-again. I became a new creature in Christ. I put off the old and put on the new. I renewed my mind and began to look at life from a more beneficial perspective. I am now in the world but not of it. Better is He that is within me than he who is in the world. I am saved and sanctified. All the above is available to anyone who reads it. That you're content to jump to a conclusion after judging something to be merely plausible (although the reasonable paraphrasing of your claim is actually anything but plausible) indicates a lack of understanding of basic logic. Logic lacks efficacy when dealing with spiritual matters. The reason is that logic relies on the natural and physical. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. I've believed the possibility for a long time. First, I developed a sense of spiritual awareness at an early age. Second, God said that Abraham's seed would be like grains of sand. Third, all born-again Christians are adopted into the family. You brought up the notion of conjecture about how my brain was wired. I added on to it with my guess in an attempt to confirm your supposition. So you believe that God created you wired to believe in God so that you would? Do I have that right? I never thought of it quite like that but it sounds plausible. Therefore, it is our task, focus, and life plan to invite others into the family of God so that we can enjoy eternal life together. I may have had a genetic predisposition but it was and is a choice made by free will. The same factors prevail in all life's predilections and course decisions. When I was a kid, I had an aunt who was a Pentecostal, and her adult son was a traveling evangelist. (I'm reminded of him every time I hear "Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show"). This woman had scrapbooks full of news clippings about the death of Marilyn Monroe, and at ever opportunity would pull them out and bore my mother (her sister) to death talking about it. I think some people are just wired to worship celebrity. Apparently, religious faith and celebrity worship are addictions that are not unlike many others. Thankfully, however, no one is insisting that I organize my one life around the purported divinity of Elvis, make a Hajj to Graceland or accept at my doorstep badly printed copies of his writings. So that's good. You've gone dark, Ron, as you usually do when things are too close to the bone. You know it's true that humans believe because we are wired to believe. Refute the proposition or agree. I am very sorry to have disappointed you. My wife and I are enjoying personal time. I have long believed that I am from the seed of Abraham. Therefore, being wired to believe is a distinct possibility. That does not mean that I am not supposed to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ just because I am one of the selected given the honor of receiving and accepting it quicker. I agree. I was an Elvis fan and memorized the words to his first 104 songs before I went into the Air Force. Then I threw away all his recordings because I got tired of moving them around. The money I simply trashed, oh well. In 1977 I was working in a restaurant in Taos, NM when he died. The news shocked and saddened me but, oh well. Although I am not a fan of the term Evangelical Christian, it is understandable the effort being made by this organization. However, there is one group, Evangelists for Social Change that is pushing more left. I believe the largest groups voting for President Trump in the next election will be those employed and white middle-class females. Evangelical Christians are simply non-denominational. IOW, they don't aspire to religious doctrine. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.

Two old sayings for those in recovery: 1. Learn to live life on life's terms. 2. If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.

That FB clip was posted by the MARS Special Operations Group. The main point is we do not like Obama or his former administration. We share various forms of entertaining news to support our emotions. Attached is another one. Anger takes many forms of expression. It is a tactic you people, liberals, use often. Then get your nickers in a swivet when it comes back to you. We are still in a culture war with plenty of insanity on both sides. This thread has drifted based on my one comment that President Trump's tweet made sense to me, creating an intolerable position for y'all to handle. That fact that I understand is something you people cannot understand. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Honest question, Ron — if you were to find out that a doctor was a liberal (or a Muslim), would that cause you not to go to them? Wendy P. When I lived in the city I took what was available. I worked as a clinician in a liberal environment. I was obedient and subservient. Now I live in a Christian environment. I pray for guidance and am treated, as far as I can tell, by Christian physicians. Most of them pray with me. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. I'll own that. However, it is a reaction more than a motivation. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.

Promoting division again, Ron? Ironic considering your past comments on the topic: "I believe our nation began a serious division and mutual distrust beginning around 1965. This divide has grown into passive aggressive rage. The Internet is the perfect medium to perpetuate our demise" "Will America survive this division? God knows!" "And the left will not let anything fade into history and move on. They keep bringing it up to create division, divisiveness and hatred." "This is just an example of the anger and division created by this administration and those in support of it. America is divided and so far no one is discussing unity." Looks like you were against division - until you were for it. A great example of moral relativity. Pragmatic observations do not equal promotion. No, they offer a 10% discount to veterans every single day (I use it any time I want). Only active duty or disabled not regular veterans. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.

Yeah, they know. Ron, you and your friends need to be more careful about believing those sources. That story is an outright lie. It is not even a little truthful. She is not even Muslim. And her name was not Jarrett in 1977. Her maiden name was Bowman. Really, you seriously need to inform yourself better. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/make-america-more-islamic-quote/ Snopes is not considered a bonafide source. FWIW, none of my Vietnam vet buddies thought it was a big deal. There was more talk castigating Rosanne Barr's lack of good taste. And, they hate Valarie Jarrett and Obama. Go figure. I kinda agree with you on this one, Ron - at least as far as how you celebrate the day. Using it as advertising or to aggrandize yoyrself is pretty distasteful though IMO. It’s one of the few days in our calandar that is definitely NOT about you unless you served. I’m surprized that you, as a veteran, don’t see that. Home Depot only offers a 10% discount to veterans on holidays. I believe Memorial Day is one of them. A friend of mine, Vietnam Marine vet, used to say in February, "This is what we fought for boys. So your mom could have new sheets." Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.

You posted a tweet - and it happened to be the one in which he used Memorial Day to tout his own accomplishments, and stroke his own ego. Again, if you think that's why Americans died defending this country, then we think very differently. I believe they fought for freedom to produce a secure country and a good if not robust economy. President Trump has to promote his accomplishments. The MSM certainly will not do it. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. Mixed feelings. How about skydiving or Bar-B-Queing and getting drunk on Memorial Day? The only way to truly observe the day is to attend a ceremony. After that, what matters? What about the way you people view and celebrate Easter? Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant.
