  1. Interesting read. I'm not a real fan of all the Masonic and Ancient Egyptian implications he tries to make, but I must admit my interest is piqued by the proposition. But, this is also the part of me that is piqued by sci-fi and Star Trek characters seducing green women with big space-boobies. Is 72 pounds of fissionable material really enough to make it happen? He seems to think so; I'm not sure but really am not one to postulate since this stuff is WAY over my head. I guess we'll just have to wait for July to see what happens! Elvisio "I'll be wearing my SPF 1000" Rodriguez
  2. And you have to have a really scary costume. With a cape. And a group of henchmen/lackies. And a cool underground lair. Elvisio "so far, not a villian" Rodriguez
  3. Was he wearing the clock in freefall? Elvisio "clock in tow" Rodriguez
  4. "clear her porch". So, is that what the kids are calling it nowadays? Me, I would've needed the sixpack BEFOREhand. Elvisio "cougars are fine, but DAMN" Rodriguez
  5. If you haven't already done so, work on your fluid/electrolyte balance. Make sure you're getting plenty of water and take a multivitamin, for starters. Make sure you're getting enough calcium. Fluid/electrolyte problems can be the root cause of a lot of muscular issues. Elvisio "works for the wife" rodriguez
  6. www.crocs.com would be my first suggestion. I've bought online and had good experiences. I love my crocs for work. I'm a nurse and for the longest time I thought "I'd be dead before I wore a pair of those fugly things." ...then I tried a pair on. End of discussion. Elvisio "they are ugly, though" Rodriguez EDIT: Go to the website and search for "axle".
  7. Like I said, NSFW. From the Feb. Maxim. Very cool use of ripstop. Elvisio "cha ching" Rodriguez
  8. Anymore, I think you GOTTA have something beyond high school. OTOH, it doesn't need to be four years at a secluded campus with ivy growing on the walls. Choose whatever kind of postsecondary education works for you: four year institution, community college, certificate programs, online education, trade school, whatever. Just get SOMETHING. The days when high school prepared you for the real world are long gone. More and more, I am realizing (as lots of others are) that education is no longer a "I'm done with it" proposition. Instead, in the future, I believe that in order to stay competitive in whatever field you may choose, you will need to continually re-educate yourself, continually add to your knowledge base. The business world is progressing too rapidly to do anything else and expect to stay afloat. Elvisio "was an engineer, now a nurse, but still in school for even more shit" Rodriguez
  9. After two years of nursing school and an absolutely USELESS develepmental psych course, how DARE you bring up Maslow! I'd finally blocked that shite out. Elvisio "" Rodriguez
  10. okay, it's on the netflix list. You know how much SHIT I catch from my wife for all the seriously fucked up movies you guys make me bring home? Yeah, it's all your fault... Elvisio "as long as there are boobies" Rodriguez
  11. Saw ambulance attendants use a smaller portable version of that on some old fat guy who had a heart attack. Very disapointed seeing it in real life since on TV the damn thing practically makes the people fly off the table whereas when I saw it the thing only seemed to make this guy twitch. Oh yeah...it didn't save the guy like it always does on tv. And on TV they'll always shock asystole (the flatline), no can do in real life... Elvisio "Peter Grifffin, Certified CPR, I need to check if you've soiled yourself, sir" Rodriguez
  12. For me a big thing is the expectation of privacy. If I'm in a place where I expect to have some degree of privacy (in a men's room, or the gym locker room, for example) and I was being videotaped then I'd expect to be made aware of it. If I'm in a public place like the mall or walking down the street then I have no expectation of privacy, and I wouldn't expect to see signs warning me that I was on video. THAT BEING SAID, the thief can kiss the store owner's ass, as far as I'm concerned. If you're stupid enough to do the crime you surrender all rights to privacy in regard to the commission of the crime. Elvisio "did that camera see me pick my nose" Rodriguez
  13. I guess the pilot was alone... it'd suck to be the CFI riding in the right seat! Elvisio "goose? no, DUCK!" Rodriguez
  14. The wife is the best of both worlds: had decent sized C-cups beforehand, went under the knife to end up a D+ afterwords. The end result is a very interesting and pleasing mix of size, feel, and look. I was actually a little bit against the surgery beforehand; I didn't think she needed them as much as she did and I didn't like the idea of a TOTALLY unnecessary surgery. But in hindsight the results have been very impressive. No pics right now but ask her at a boogie coming to a DZ near you and she'll be happy to show off the goods! Elvisio "wubbuta wubbuta wubbuta" Rodriguez
  15. Or a pterodactyl! Elvisio "and Leon's getting LARGER" Rodriguez
  16. Ok...ok...ok... They FUCK you at the drive-thru, OK? They FUCK you at the drive-thru! Elvisio "Pesci rocks" Rodriguez
  17. Wait a minute... I think there's a picture of you in another thread on the board right now... Elvisio "THAT'S a crime against nature" Rodriguez
  18. Like a vowel? What's in it for me? an "O" !!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha I hate when I'm paging down the thread with a response to a previous post in mind and I'm thinking "PLEASE don't let anyone else have posted it. PLEASE don't let anyone else have posted it." And dammit, somebody else ALWAYS has. Elvisio "just not quick enough" Rodriguez
  19. Gee! Dammit woman, I told you GEE! Elvisio "or was is haw?" Rodriguez
  20. I'm so disappointed I didn't get this in earlier in the thread, it completely slipped my mind, it must be all the beer. http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/llama Elvisio "doorknob ankle cold" Rodriguez
  21. What was a beautiful thing? The boogie, or the video of my nuts that was recorded at said boogie? Elvisio "already know the answer" Rodriguez
  22. She walked down the aisle to the quartet playing "Can't help falling in love" by Elvis. Our first song was "Far Away" by Nickelback. It works on a number of levels. All in all, a damn good day. Elvisio "got murried" Rodriguez
  23. I'm really ambivalent about the optical drive thing. On one hand my laptop has one and I HAVE used it. OTOH, how often do I really use it? Not that often, mebbe a half-dozen times in the couple of years I've owned it. SO, I don't mind the idea of a "plug it in when you need it" optical drive. BUT, you need to consider that it's just going to cost $99 more. Elvisio "worth a closer look" Rodriguez
  24. I can open a bottle of beer without a bottle-opener using a variety of things found around the DZ setting, everything from aluminum signs to B-12 snaps. Elvisio "everything about life I need to know I learned at the DZ" Rodriguez
  25. One of the places I lived that in many ways was the most ass-backwards (rural Kentucky) was also one of the first I've seen to use the "911 numbering system" that required standardized marking of all addresses. I'm sure it's because the situation was so bad, being a rural area and all, that they went with it. When they upgraded the county's emergency response system to include CAD, they required every residence in the county to mark the start of their driveway with their address number on a standardized green plaque with standardized, reflective numbers. The end result was a HUGE increase in visibility for police/fire/EMS responders. There was some grumbling about the cost and hassle, but the county threatened that if you didn't do it they'd come out and do it for you and give you a FAT bill for it, so everyone played ball. I've since lived in a few other places and have yet to see the system repeated. Needless to say, I'm surprised that rural Kentucky could be the most forward-thinking area I've ever lived about anything! Elvisio "silent approach request: DENIED" Rodriguez
