THANKS! Yeah, I made the mistake of rereading my post afterwards. All I could think was wow, I used the word "SHIT" five times. One would think I would be able to describe the experience with more elegant terminology. HA! No matter how you slice it, it still comes down to, THIS SHIT IS INCREDIBLE! I am, so frickin stoked I can't think of anything else! All my whuffo friends are bitchin that I can't talk about anything else. I need to remediate that shit and get more skydivin friends to bullshit with! This shit is like cocaine! (to all dea/fbi agents, don't do it any more, havent in years!). When your not doing it, all you can think of is doing it. I can't stop staring at the damn sky! Then, when your doing it, your going, shit this is cool, shit this is cool! WOWEE! Then, when your done, and your driving home trying not to wreck, lookin at the damn sky! All you can think is "DAMN, My Next Jump is GONNA ROCK!" Hover control was awesome, felt so good, practically wet myself. I have five years left to get my last two kids through school. After that, all bets are off, I'm selling my shit, moving close to the damn dz (where my heart is and my wallet) and becoming an instructor. This is the shit. This is, soo sooo good! Oh and by the way, for all the nervous people freakin out on the plane ride. THAT'S ME! I'm still turnin up the butterflies, askin myself why and shit. But when I hit that door and blast into the sky, it all goes bye bye. I consider myself lucky to have lived and chosen to do this. So frickin cool. :-) One more thing. Quantum Leap kicks serious ass. Man I'm glad I found dropzone.com. Hell Yes, butterflies? Man... I'm making AFF 3 tomorrow, I made two a couple day's ago and I have alot of anxiety. From what I can tell it is limited to "performance anxiety" due to the fact that I also want a great exit and subsequent freefall. Also, there is getting past the whole "WHat the Hell am I doing" syndrome. Getting out of the plane is a pretty alien thing to do you know. I've had some pretty interesting conversations with myself on that one. As were getting higher and higher and the guys are at the door spotting, I'm thinking, "Be Careful, You could Fall Out"!!! Yeah, thats some crazy shit. After all, were all gonna fall out in just a few minutes. FUN STUFF MAN. Cannot, figure out, for the life of me, anything else in the universe that could be more fun. It's worse than being addicted to drugs. When I'm jumping I'm thinking "WOW I'M JUMPING!" and when I'm not, I'm thinking "Damn, I WISH I WAS JUMPING" LOL I hear you though, it will get better I assume, I'm working real hard on anxiety issues too. Jonesing, got a monkey on my back. Was scheduled for AFF 1 this weekend (intro a couple weeks ago, static lines years ago). Got my first piece of Skydiving equipment in, new Goggles!!!! I have to say, as a jumper getting ready to do number nine next week (GOT SCREWED BY WEATHER TODAY!!! DAMN!). I'm continually impressed by the care taken by skydivers to maximize safety. The advice, attitude, and sense of brotherhood rock. Good Stuff. I am also looking for a rig, and want to get it so I can start jumping it as soon as they'll let me! (I'm sure it'll be after AFF and A!) I'm about 5' 10", and weigh around 205 could someone point me to the right rigs???? It's a gas, gas, gas...
