You stated that you don't make predictions about dates. Categorically. Because that's God's purview. But there you are making predictions about it happening in 2017. The problem is that how you'd like to THINK you behave doesn't actually resemble what you do in reality. This has nothing to do with my preparation and everything to do with your self delusion.

I don't think there's any such thing as 'Heli-base'. If there was I'd associate it with 'Heli-ski' where a helicopter drops you off at the exit point. BASE jumping is defined by the object exited from (i.e. a fixed object), not the gear you're using or the height you open at. It wasn't long ago that people were jumping off cliffs and using skydiving gear. That doesn't make them 'skydives'. They were BASE jumps. If you'd posted the video on here saying 'look what I got up to!' you'd be getting everyone saying it was a cool jump, but by even trying to raise the question that you were BASE jumping to make it even cooler(!) it just cheapens the whole thing. I think that's why you're getting the push-back.

It's a skydive. Of course it is. You jumped out of a helicopter... I've jumped out of a number of helicoptors and none of those were BASE jumps either. I don't understand how this is even a question? No matter how much you want to call it a BASE jump it isn't one. If any BASE jumpers were saying it is then they were humoring you because you were probably being weird and insistent about it.

It's also not as straightforward a metric as you'd like to pretend. The Democratic voters in California are splitting their donations between 19 candidates. Your guys only have a choice of one... What do you think will happen to the funding totals when the democratic field narrows? For reference, The overall cash raised for the Democratic field is about $26.5m, so the reality is that Trump has garnered only 11% of the total donations in California. Hardly 'winning', I'd say. Unless your definition of winning is 'better than I thought he'd do'. But that's a pretty low bar. Trump DID top the small donations contributors list, at nearly 93% of his fundraising coming from people donating less that 100 bucks. But again, he's the only Republican in the field, so that's to be expected. As always Ron, you oversimplify to try and try and take a jab at Democrats but end up looking either ignorant of the complexity of the topic you're discussing or deliberately misrepresenting the facts to suit your own world view. I love that Ron thinks Trump is 1) coherent enough to come up with the secret language nonsense this Q uses, and 2) would choose to communicate through secret channels rather than just tweeting his every thought. It's very much a 'I feel special if I think the president is speaking only to me and a select group' sort of thing. It's rather sad, actually. This is how cults happen.

Like DJL said earlier, this presidency has unfortunately exposed a much more common attitude in the US than I believed existed.

The sad thing is that this isn’t shocking from Trump. I AM extremely disappointed that so few Republican senators and congressmen have spoken against it. Politics over decency.
