Just a little edit. Make sure you are watching instructors and not just any tourist. Tourists have a lot of bad habbits you don't want to pick up on. You could even ask an instructor that isn't yours to demo an enterance before their class. I know at SVO the coaches would gladly do that if you are a jumper and just sitting around trying to learn. Don't be afraid to ask ?'s and talk w. the instructors, people will post just about anything here in the forums that they've seen, heard, etc. Trust the people who do it day in and day out, the rats. There wouldn't be much room for flying through the hoop. You can easily make a hoop out of people and carve around them, or go over, under, and around. It's really fun. Tunnel 4 Paws was incredible. Thanks to our lovely coaches, Bowen, Chris, Dan, and Ed. Friday night was coaching for donations. Gail (adventurechick), David, and Darin flew the night away. One on one coaching improved their flying in just 15 minutes. Those SVO guys are good! After the coaching, the teachers got to play a little and enjoyed themselves. Saturday was the freefly frenzy! Brandon and Ed did a great job spotting. The skill level of participants varied from beginner to advanced. For the majority of it, there were 8 of us cramed in there. The name of the game was....If there is an open apendage, grab it!!!!

Don't mind at all girl. I've been super busy as I just started a new job this week and have the event this weekend. I've had to cram 40 hours of work in to 3.5 days and take care of event things that were not handled by others. I'm so looking forward to the event and flying. I need air time bad. I flew Orlando the other day w.o a suit and they must have had the air cranked way higher than it was in Eloy because man was it easier to fly! Just jeans and a ls t-shit (my SVAZ shirt- ironically the only other place I've flown w. pants and shirt). Back to the topic: listen to La she know's her shit and is an amazing flyer. If you can do it in the tunnel you can do it in the sky w. minor adjustments. I generally use my heels to guide my direction carving but I like to change it up to be proficient at using arms and legs/feet. Sounds like you guys had a lot of good flying going on! The heat can get you but I also found it to be far more tolerable than I had anticipated. Ari and I also flew during the day. The tunnel took off all the hair on my arms I loved the mysters, nothing at all like when it rains (even just sprinkling) at SVO (it can hurt if it pours). I found it to be most refreshing. I could def. see the benefits of starting at 3am and ending at 10am though. Next time we visit, it's night flights for us. How did you like the tunnel? Did you work w. any coaches out there? If you are trying to carve in your avitar (not sure if you are) it looks like you should use more legs and relax the arms. Relaxing the arms will allow you to take grips and add to things you can do while carving (hand on head, hands on head, grab foot, double grip w. another carver as you orbit around someone going up and down, etc.). If you check out the 1st photo (PaigeMickHD2) of Mick and I carving in AZ, you'll notice that our legs are engaged. In the tunnel you engage the legs also to create lift but in AZ you def. don't need to create lift as they have all the air you could ever need

If an average jumper makes 100 jumps a year (I'm not sure of the exact number but 100 works for math purposes and I'm pretty sure the average is around 100ish), that should put them at 2000 for 20 years. You would be jumping w. someone who many not be current and most certainly w. 50 jumps in a year, they aren't at the top of their game. It's all about perspective and person risk limitations though. Try eating something w. them. Same thing happens to me and if I have a protein bar or something small, that usually helps. Try eating something w. more grains/carbs insted of yogurt so it can absorb the vitamins and not put all that on your tummy. Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com

Anthem blue cross blue shield is affordable and covers skydiving. Their PPO plans (I think) range from $50+ a month. I believe I pay $90 or so for their most expensive PPO plan. Oh man, spoil yourself. There are some nice spas in the area. if you feel like a real treat, go to Champions Gate/Omni and get a massage from Manny if he still works there. He's magic!
