Did you click on import in the bottom tool bar? After the camera is attached to the computer and turned on (the camera)? That's all I have to do. Though, it does take a few seconds for iPhoto to recognize the camera. I had my tongue pierced for six years. Loved it! In addition to liking the shorter barbells better, I also preferred the larger gauges. I played with it so much that once the whole barbell (balss still attached popped through my tongue (no it didn't hurt). I finally ended up with a 4 gauge barbell and was quite happy with it. (I found that when I could lay the barbell horizontal in all directions and put the bottom ball on the roof of my mouth, I could easily and painlessly put the next larger gauge in.) One thing that you will want to watch out for is wear to your gums (behind your bottom front teeth). The bottom ball may rub against it. I took my tongue piercing out just about a year ago, because my dentist noticed my gums were wearing away (slightly, but I didn't want to make it any worse). I always made a point to ask about gum wear at my appointments. I am a big fan of Radio Wazee, which plays alternative/modern rock. It is actually much more eclectic than that and they plays lots of brand new music. In addition, they have the "WMD" - wazee music downloads. Artists load their music onto the page and anyone can download it for free. I've come across quite a few good artists because of the wmd. BA in Chemistry and Biochemistry and sometime in the middle of next week, I will have my Master's of Science degree (in synthetic organic chemistry), though the university won't officially grant it until August. Can't wait to be all done with grad school.

I am gear check crazy. I caught my own misrouted chest strap in the boarding area once. Now, I check all of my 3s multiple times on the ground and in the plane. In addition, I try to check everyone that I am jumping with and people sitting around me. Once, I caught someone's whose reserve handle was loose. That's also another good thing to check. Make sure that they (both reserve and cutaway handles) are properly seated.
