After watching "Irreversible" and "Oldboy", "The Omen" offered nothing

Oldboy was one of those movies that was almost too potent for its own good. I really enjoyed it, but not in a "WOW! What an AWESOME movie!" kind of way. More like the last seconds of life in roadkill kind of way. Don't get me wrong, I thought Oldboy had excellent cinematography and a powerful story, but I almost felt completely numb by the end of the flick, which is quite possibly what Chan-wook Park was going for. As for Irreversible, are you referring to the Gaspar Noé film? I've yet to see that one, but it's on my list. Hang on...have you been talking with one of our teammates? Came back this evening to find a beautiful, still chained, Sapphire wiggling and grinning at me from her house. My guess is that she tired of showing me how insanely smart she is and decided to show the loyalty aspect of her personality. Plus, her daddy should be home tomorrow...I think. Being that her residence is in a rather rural and somewhat wooded area, I think that's a distinct possibility. But she seems to have an affinity for other animals. Maybe the squirrels are helping her escape. David did a WONDERFUL job on the DVD! I loaned my copy to Gus and his lovely wife at Chester while we were there for the CaSL meet, and it was a big hit. Played all day long and nobody complained. I recently read a letter from Gaiman regarding rumors spreading about the Sandman movie. It was very interesting. Apparently he's a bit stand-offish in real life. My grandparents had this pool enclosure called "The Bubble" that was inflatable, and I was wary of swimming in the enclosed pool by myself because I was worried that either Jaws or a giant squid would make its way through the filter and eat me while nobody could see to rescue me. I've got Mirrormask on DVD already. It was out over a month ago. I enjoyed the story and the visuals, but I know of at least one Gaiman fan who hated Mirrormask. If I'm not mistaken, "Books of Magic" is also becoming a movie. I thought I had heard a whisper that they were taking "Sandman" to the big screen, but I may have been mistaken. Yep, the vinegar is an effective tool for behavior modification. I used to use big spray bottles with vinegar and water when I worked with young tigers. Works like a charm. I think I'd be okay swimming with the sharks if I could hypothetically generate enough of my own urine to coat three people, and then completely soak myself in it before making the attempt. But hypothetically, I'd rather be flying in my own personal wind tunnel and earning $1000/day doing it.
