Are you kidding me? I've been here at work since around 5:40 this morning. It's the only time of the day when I can get work done without a million interruptions consisting of people walking into my office to show me the trivial nonsense they've found in a magazine/Internet site/pub restroom. It was great meeting you too, Bill. My girlfriend and I had more fun than we knew what to do with. And drama? What drama? I merely drank until the shakes went away after my chop. Hell YES you've got what it takes! I don't have much video beyond the one jump and subsequent high-speed make-out session with shrubbery, but I've got more than a few pics. Katie - I wish you had been there, darlin'. Cora and I missed you, but she has informed me that we WILL be going to Dublin...right before we bail for NZ. Oh, and if you thought my shirt was nice, you should have seen the shirt my buddy Fitz wore the day before: "Your sister's hot, but your mom does that thing with her tongue." I can't tell you all how much fun we had at this boogie. It's just too much to relate without getting overly verbose. Anyone who knows Cora and I knows how difficult it is to get her to agree to attend these outings, so hearing her say that we're coming back is quite telling about how incredible her experience was. It was wonderful seeing you there, Kel! The boogie was amazing, but what makes it extra special for me is seeing all my friends and spending time with them. And yes, that's the quote I was thinking about. I need a week off after that boogie, but with this weekend's shenanigans coming up, I'm guessing I'll have to catch up on a couple of months worth of sleep as part of a New Year's resolution or something. I've been informed by my cuter half that we WILL be going again next year. You left out the best costumes of the entire event. The Adams Family was AWESOME, my friend! And Jess was such a good method actor. She even promised to kill me later in such a lackadaisical manner that I decided to leave early. Holy crap! So much to relate, so little energy. All I'll say right now is that any party with walking trees, Scott Trixie and Shorty (the Smurfs) and a fire-eating magician whose dove does magic too () is one that I'll never forget. Oh, and Kele's got a quote she needs to share with the rest of the family here. Between all of that, and the many friends, new and old, who were there, it really was a shindig to beat all shindigs. You'll want to make sure the person doing that REALLY knows what they're doing. I nearly had a rib cracked when I let someone who weighed 90 pounds soaking wet walk on my back. The scolding from my physical therapist girlfriend was quite direct...and profuse. Don't forget catering to her out-of-the-ordinary needs and requests, to include spending your own money to send her food overseas because she refuses to eat what they serve there. I watched "someone" do all of that and more, essentially altering their own life to accommodate the other person's, and now I have to watch the fallout with only a limited idea of how to help...other than always standing up for my friend.
