I'm not talking about trying to ask about your deepest darkest secrets in which you'd be personally or financially destroyed. I'm more thinking about questions that if others found out who asked it would just be a nuisance and might just cause some drama. As for administrators knowing and seeing everything, it's a matter of trust and time. You hope you can trust them and you also hope they've got better use of their time than snooping. -

Being known on here is both good and bad. If you're known it's hard to ask a personal question on here without starting drama or rumors or the fact that people know you biasing their opinion. If no one knows you, you probably don't know who you should listen to or people may not answer because you're "nobody" or just think you might be trolling. Some of us don't want everyone to know possibly sensitive and intimate parts of their personal life. The sad part is we have a great cross section of international society who could offer many different perspectives. Would it be possible to create a way where a logged in user could create a thread in a forum not tied to their name? They'd only be able to create the thread, but could not respond in that thread or to any others. Obviously moderators would know and these postings would have to be heavily moderated. I've known people in the past creating separate accounts to do something similar, this may help prevent that. -
