Charge her fees. Currently if she doesn't do something, there really is no consequence. To make it fair though, setup common area rules and cleaning duties along with monetary penalties. BAse it on the cost of hiring someone to clean the mess. This way if you or your roommate do it, you can earn extra cash. You have another roommate right? You have a meeting and democratically vote on all this. 2 against 1. -

The guys next door to me in college seemed to keep to themselves. Both of their families work overseas for the government, Geneva, And Kuala Lumpur. So I go over and introduce myself and the subject of partying and of course beer. They asked me what I generally drank. "Well generally, we drink Beast or Natalie, but occasionally we get good beer like Bud or Coors." Their jaws dropped and thus started my education... Couldn't you just, you know, put it on vibrate, put it in your pants and tell them "keep calling me until I tell you to stop" ? You've been told to do that too, huh? At college we had these phones that could redial really without hanging up. When calling another campus phone they'd ring very quickly You could "asshole dial" people. by dialing and hitting redial at various intervals and make the phone start to ring then rering sounded like: Ring,R,R,R,R,Ri,Ring,Ring Could that sort of dialing be applied to a regular phone... When I go to a new DZ: * I ask to see an arial map * Get someone to point out any hazards * LZ restrictions * Exit order * Wind indicators * Landing directions * Etc. Some places give me "the tour" without asking, others don't. Besides, if you're gonna complain about Raeford, complain about the outdoor concrete packing... Medicine is a business. Why do you think very little has been cured? Treatments a plenty, drugs for just about anything you can imagine. Yes we're living longer, but it sure as hell isn't naturally. But the longer they can keep us alive, the more money they can make doing it. As for doctor's being "bullied" into things: Stop treating them as patients, they became customers years ago. Give the customers what they need, not what they want. Drugs need to be supplements, not the solution. My father is a drug reps dream: He takes a pill for everything. Recently he was in the hospital and basically got detoxed. He was more lucid and clearer than he's been in years. The hospital sent him home on way less meds. He goes back to his PC, whines to him and is back on all that crap. Back to a half out of it babbler again.
