As far as Iraq is concerned it's sort of a moot point now as that is winding down and Iraqi forces are taking charge now, but how do you propose removing the terrorists from Afghanistan? Regardless of the fact one agrees or disagrees for us being in Iraq, Afghanistan, or elsewhere. we're there. The question is how best to end it quickly with minimal loss of US soldiers and civilians. We can't win because we're trying to fight a politically correct war. The press definitely isn't helping. Meanwhile, they arm children, use women as bombs, etc. etc. They probably even make terrorists that look like press people. If one is in a war zone and around people with weapons, it's not unreasonable for a large camera to be mistaken for an rpg. War is hell. The longer it lasts the more civilian casualties there will be so the best method is to let it be known any place that harbors terrorists will be destroyed then do just that. Rather quickly they'd have no where left to hide.

Why a woman would want to bring a child into her life that she knew the father didn't want is beyond me. So from the mid 30's until Reagan we never have had taxes below 70% top brkt, so there really never was a time when we could control debt thru spending; we've always had high taxes until Reagan. I think 50-60% top brkt is about right. I meant across the board, not just the "rich." If this were ever to work, it'd need to be viewed as everyone's problem so all would need to help solve it in the form of higher taxes and/or less aid.
