I agree.. that's my new ground lens, and I am extremely happy with it, the pictures that it produces are unbelievably sharp and the focussing on it is FAST... Definately the lens to get, I couldn't come up with the money for the 2.8 version, otherwise I might have considered that one.. Iwan

Got 30 jumps in this time around.. too bad we missed one day of jumping, that got me stuck at 995 total, I wanted to get to 1K at the boogie. Memories.. there are too many to name, got a lot of awesome jumps in, a really cool helicopter jumps with the "Ohio Playas" (Justi and Alana), a whole bunch of cool jumps with TallGuy and Craig (ballsack) and closed it off with a bad ass jump with Girlfalldown.. I can't wait until next year.. or at least the next big dz.com gathering.. Iwan

Anyone have experience hosting a low limit poker night?

The way you're doing it, $10 dollar buy-in works well, that's how I got introduced to poker and then playing online. You could of course send everybody home with some homework to learn all the hands first, I didn't know all of them either when I first played, but you learn as you play (and often.. as you lose) Poker is indeed all about gambling, because you can win with absolutely nothing, just outbluff your opponent.. it is handy however to know the hands.. (and I am getting better at it.. ) Iwan -

I have a question about that, as far as I know most cameras are 30mm, and you need the step up to 37mm to put your wide angle on. If you have a 37mm thread on your camera, and you put a 30mm lens on it, won't it show the black edges on the video? Iwan

Amen.. This is so true, some people "give up" when they get in to a relationship and they think all that is needed is spend each and every minute together instead of continuing beeing "themselves" Even though you are together, there are still things that you do and that your girlfriend does. If he or she "gives up" on all that and just sits there at home waiting for you, everything that keeps you away from her will become an issue.. it's not just skydiving... Iwan

Personally, I would get the Canon EF 28mm f2.8 , but some people like the 24mm better. You have to be closer with that one of course to get same shot. Iwan -
