Ha ha.. I've heard stories that Pop becomes normal as soon as the beerlight comes on and he takes the first hit of Te-Kill-Ya! I am staying away from that though at the boogie.. I am going for the real hate-drink.. Jack! (remember Lost Prairie Geno?)

nooooo, that would be broadband. heh he he.. it would play smoother if you had more RAM though
-
Random Access Memory, the memory the computer uses to store temporary information in. Temporary as in: while the computer is turned on. Turn off the computer, and all the info stored in RAM memory is gone. It's the fastests accessible memory (next to on chip memory on the processor) in the computer. Iwan

Yeah dude, they are catching up. Better start upgrading. I only have 512 MB of RAM and 240 Gb of harddisk space, but then.. I am using Apple, they don't need those extreme amounts of RAM (although I want to put some more in)

3rd Annual Dropzone.com Skydive Arizona Holiday Boogie
vdschoor replied to sangiro's topic in The Bonfire
Betsy helped us all out, and put us on there already. Since the listing are hers right now, you need to claim it to be able to make changes to it. Iwan -
Ok hun, I will come upstairs this weekend and check them out. I guess the key here is once again, the right paper with the right ink. I know a couple of other photos around the dropzone are home prints out of a HP printer, and they faded within weeks, I guess the wrong paper or ink was used, I don't know. Personally for photo stuff, I am leaning towards Epson (I love the R800) but if you can convince me on HP, that's fine too
-
Yiehaa.. now THAT's a good day (and a cool boss) See you in a couple of weeks
-
JP, are you doing tandems in Davis or in Byron? I have to be in Byron first on Saturday to help out, and then I am coming over to Davis to play! Iwan
-
All, I wanted to get a feel of who is home printing their pictures. The reason for this is that I see a lot of the pictures that are printed at home fade in a couple of weeks time, they turn yellow and just "disappear" During the Byron Boogie we want to setup a photo concession so we can print some pictures right there for people that are interested in getting a photo of their jump, but I absolutely refuse to sell something that will fade in a couple of weeks. Any recommendations / experiences with certain printers / ink / papers that do last? Your feedback is very much appreciated. Iwan

Ok, here's the official word from our DZ managers Vic and Connie: Byron Boogie 2004: Registration: $20 This includes: Free beer during the boogie, dinner on Friday and Saturday night. Jumptickets: $19 (no block discounts) Airplanes: King Air PAC 750 Caravan Helicopter on Saturday, price: $40 (cash only) Saturday night, 50/50 raffle Night time activities: Friday night: Karaoke from 9-12 Saturday night: Dave Kelleher band is playing Daytime activities during the boogie are as many skydives as possible of course. Organizers: Gareth Holder and Mad John. Also we are setting up a video concession where you can donate your footage that you shot during the day. We're uploading it into the editting system right there and will be putting together a daily video that we play on the big screen at night. If there is enough footage submitted to justify a full boogie video, we'll work on that one after the boogie. Also, plans are beeing put together for a swoop accuracy competition for beginners, more info on this will come later. License requirement for the boogie is an A license. See you in Byron September 24- 26! Iwan

I can't believe someone like that not buying the video and still package... that's just wrong. I can see college kids not buying it, they just don't have the money, but Sharon?
-
hmm.. let's not plan on alternate activities during the boogie.. let's plan on skydiving like your life depends on it If you have a tube.. bring it! Let's do some big tube dives! Iwan
-
I'll drive!!! Um.. no thanks Andy, I've driven in front of you, you're not going fast enough for it to be safe, remember.. speed is your friend.
-
Dude.. this IS a long weekend, and I think it's the last weekend of cheap jumps in Perris... Wanna go? Iwan
-
How are you dealing with boogie's and stuff like that? The reason I use Shutterfly is so I can upload the pictures from the boogie easily. You can still work with the customer in person and provide them with whatever they are looking for. Iwan

Make sure the secret webcam is turned on so i can watch. So thats why Bonnie insisted I try on her underwear upstairs! You know.. I've been talking to Bonnie about male underwear.. It's going to be called "Anti-Gravity Gear", to protect the boys from gravity. A nice European style tight boxer brief. Iwan
-
Wow.. is that an action from Plaything to keep you in line? Like you better watch it or else.. CHOP CHOP, and we'll eat them for dinner? I never knew Plaything was that evil..
-
but she does jello shots with style......... like no other...... hehehehe.. she is evil dude. stay away or you will be swept up in the wirlwind that is sunshine.... Run while you can..
-
ouch.. you're not bringing her to the DZ this weekend right? I might have to start changing upstairs in the student room or the pro shop, Plaything is staying far far away from me from now on. So.. did you have a BBQ last night? Iwan
-
Timmae.. NOOOOO These things are done when the Byron winds are howling, and we're going to have a nice 5 mph breeze during the boogie.. not 35 mph Iwan
