    I found it easier to schooch (is that a word) with my rig to the rear of the plane and rotate the pass legs out on to the step, and from a kneeling position use them as the pivot point (kind of sounds sexual if you ask me) Had some reaal good exits that way. Jumping from from small stuff really works ya! Hooking up was really different! Ill save that for another chapter...Again thanks for all of your input.     I will be going to a drop zone this weekwnd to do Tandems and they will be using a 182. Any suggestions for a good exit strategy?     This question came up the other night, and it left me wondering. Can you do enoung turns in drouge fall to twist the bridal in such a way that it will not collaspe when deployed? We are using the Strong rig, and it has 2 kill lines. I would think there is the possibility for them to wrap together inside the bridal and get bound up. I wasnt sure if this needed to be in Gear and Rigging or Instructors, so if it is in the wrong forum, please move it. Thanks in advance. .     Just curious if there is a chart out there to determine how fast a spaceball will fall with a given amout of weight added to it. For example: how much weight to add to achieve 120 vs how much weight to add to achieve 180. Thanks for your help in advance. .     You can sit on the side line and watch a packing mat for five minutes and tell who you want and DO NOT want touching your rig. For the most part packers know what they are doing, and will catch small stuff on your rig that the average new jumper would not. Packers can keep you on that 10 minute back to back, they change your rubber bands, and your closing loops. And most know how to pack your canopy for a soft opening. So the question is not, "Why would someone use a packer..." The question is "Why wouldnt you tip your packer" In addition...If you are averaging less than .27 jumps a day you dont need a packer. .     I still think that it is bullshit, and quite possibly one of the biggest waste of my tax dollar - preventing a suicide. And to those who say wait until it is your friend, wife etc... Been there.... No one has offered a reason why when they threaten to kill themself they get help, when we want to base jump...we go to jail.     Oh geeze. If waiting in your car is "grief" you really don't understand what those people were going through. WTF Ever...Read the rest of his post. If you were A) kept from being with a loved one as they lie dying in the hospital or B) Die on the freeway on your way to the hospital in the back of an ambulance than yes you have suffered because of these twi lame asses. What I find ironic is when they are caught on a bridge wanting to kill themselves they are sent to a psch hospital, but when we are caught on a bridge wanting to BASE jump we are sent to jail.     Maybe they pay twice as much, because you are packing for two people...hehe As far as the set standard for sport rigs being $5.00 I know of places (like Z-Hills) where it is $6.00 There doesnt seem to be a set standard, but rather a standard for the area you live in perhaps..?
