How much does your sport/personal rig weigh ?
mountainman replied to mountainman's topic in The Bonfire
Hey folks. I just jumped on the scale to figure out how much my rig weighed for my "real" wingloading. I was curious about you guys. I have a Wings, 169ft2 Safire, 181 Dash-M, and CYPRES with a couple of knives. It came in at ~22 pounds. Tell us yours ! Don't count tandem rigs. If you have multiple rigs, than pick your favorite/most used. If you don't have a rig, I put your option there too. Let's hear it ! Blues, -

If you read all of the inforamtion it is a Nation-wide network. BB Oh... Hmm.... I guess I stopped reading on the FAQ when it said: Q. "What is Life Flight's Service Area? A: The Life Flight Network's service area covers from Olympia, Washington south to Roseburg, east to Walla Walla and west to the Oregon and Washington coasts. These areas are serviced by both helicopter and fixed wing aircraft. I didn't finish the rest of the paragraph: The fixed wing aircraft also service patient transport needs throughout the continental United States and internationally. Thanks for the headsup BB. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Thanks B2. Hmm... I dont think they'll stretch their boundries out to Ohio. :D Oh well.. thanks for the link. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

I don't think that is the point. I think they are wondering why they charge so damn much for a 1 mile ride. Mouth... you should have called a LIMO for the ride. It would have cost you $100 MAX. And you could have raided the minibar for the pain. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Wow, Mouth ! I am just curious... why did you take the ambulance (or even call it) to the hospital ? I may have missed it, but didn't see why you didn't get a ride. Sorry to hear about the bill. That really sucks. Info ? Website ? Linky ? And AMEN to the last part. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Calling that a "song" that has "lyrics" is using the English language very loosly. LOL It was another bad day in baseball history... just like Roseanne singing the Anthem. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

I must admit; living in Ohio doesn't lend me to much country other than what I hear on the local station while flipping back to AM from FM. :D http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Or even worse.... COUNTRY. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Well... being here in Spain for the past six weeks has shown me some high temps. The highest I saw while I was here was 46C. All of Europe (the most in Southern Europe which is still having it) is having this heatwave and in Portugal and Barcelona area (close to Empuriabrava) are having lots of fires that are being very difficult to put out. These people are used to heat, but not the extreme heat that is happening. And, it seems that with this, you don´t drink as much water as you should. I was in Seville a few days ago for three nights and I read about several people who died from the heat. They were old people who just didn´t stay hydrated. One big difference here is that the people are used to walking a LOT as opposed to driving and they probably don´t get reminded as they need. In America, we are getting all kinds of warnings and reminders of drinking and staying cool, but here, they don´t have that on the TV stations. I know. I am watching them... in my AC hotel room. Most places do NOT have AC, especially the places where natives live-eat-work-hangout. So, that is probably why. However,I am with you, Dave. That is an AWFUL high amount of deaths due to heat. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Hope all is well for you Lew. I missed this when it happened due to the lack of internet in this country. LOL VIBES from the hot country of Spain ... http://www.brandonandlaura.com

I live in Ohio (Lima) and have heard of that place as well. I dont have any reviews for you, but if you hear more about it and-or decide to go, please shoot me a PM and let me know what you thought. Lima is about 50 min from Ft Wayne and my brother will be in college there. So, I could kill two birds with one stone... visit and jump. Let me know ! http://www.brandonandlaura.com
