Actually...here is what you need to jump there: D license 500 jumps canopy with a wing loading of UNDER 1.2:1 no fun jumps Jan - June (tandem factory) If/when you can jump, it is $35 to 10,000' in a C-182. Yeah man...they should get a new paint job and it could be even cooler! Maybe the owners could have a paintjob contest and put the name of the artist real small somewhere and then give the first jump out of it them. That would be pretty sweetass. You swoop, skyhawk? Damn man!! This past weekend, I did one jump where I turned onto final at about 50' so I could get some speed and that was damn fast. On the second jump, I came straight in and held half brakes and let them go at about 30'. That put me into a dive and I flared and I stopped on a DIME. Good stuff. So, this number EASILY exceeds $20k. Jeez....that is awesome!! I wish I could spend that much this year on just jumps! Have a good one! You ask what to spend your money on. I am thinking an eye exam. If you looked at your alti, it looked good, and you deployed at 2000'....maybe you need some glasses or something. Hey all.....Laura and I did 2 jumps this past Saturday and they were awesome. The first one was a rodeo dive. Now, I'll go through this step-by-step and if you have a piece of advice, I would really appreciate it (especially for the spinning). Here goes: First, I sat on my knees right in front of the door and faced out. She crouched behind me, holding on to my shoulder straps. I just leaned forward and she followed me out and held tight. We went upside-down and flipped back and forth. I managed to get us stable and flat and she had her legs around my waist/chest. We were very straight and then after awhile, she lifted one arm up to "complete" the rodeo look and we started to spin. I tried to stop the spin with my legs, arms and twisting, but it just got faster and faster. Finally, she just let go and we finished the dive trying to dock, but we can't fall the same. If you guys can give us some pointers, that would be awesome. We really would like to get pictures/video someday soon and want it to work good. Thanks all!!
