  1. Dave - That is some funny stuff man! Hopefully Laura and I head down to TX this coming winter. If so, you know we're meeting up for some "making fun of others" session. Thanks for the laughs! JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  2. Did you see the name of the bidder?? "non-paying-bidder-just-ask-anyone"........NICE!! JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  3. I am not reading this or getting into a heated arguement, but I am just glad that Gore wasn't in there during 9/11. Or Ralph Nader.... That would have been bad. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  4. Brush jumps from 12,500 AGL and Brush jumps from 13,500 AGL. They are also a bit lower as far as ASL. The airport in Brush is at 4280 ft. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  5. That depends if they got a deposit and said that it is "non refundable". If they didn't pay anything, all they got was a reservation. Seems to me that if you pay something, then you actually bought it and the DZ has the say "yes" or "no" to keep it. (In which case, the decision should be a policy.) To me, that seems the best, but I am FAR from being a buisness person. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  6. Damn! Well, it looks like they have to figure out some better technology for that then. I wonder why they would put that into the camera with such bad performance numbers. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  7. I just checked out their website and a new one is running $400. Like I said, you can get an old one and have it upgraded like new for various prices (depending on how much work is needed). So, if you want the best, check it out! JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  8. Best radar detector on the market...Valentine One. These things are awesome. My step-dad who lives in Colorado uses them religiously and has only been stopped by VASCAR and the old fashioned following method. When they get updated, you can send them in and get the software updated. (Not sure if it's free, but you know it's advanced.)
  9. Hey SkyCat....from what I have heard through the grapevine, MileHi is somewhat of a tandem factory, but there are fun jumpers there too. They have a King Air. There is a DZ in Brush, CO which has a Grand Caravan and that place seems more "family-like" from what I'm told by other CO skydivers. Good luck and be sure to tell me how it is. Laura and I are headed that way in July.
  10. Why don't you tell that to one face-to-face? I just want to tell all those SNR people "good job" for keeping up the search and doing whatever you can do. I can understand waiting till better light to do a search. Some people in this world just don't appreciate much. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  11. Hey rgoper....I dont really bike around here because I am into mountain biking, but living in midwest Ohio doesn't yield a big altitude change. I do have a Specialized Rockhopper with RockShox front suspection and hard tail that I bought in CO several years back. Whenever I go to CO in the summertime, I be sure to do some good mountain biking. Laura and I are going there in July and will be in the Smoky mountains for a week in June, so this summer is looking good for some mountain biking. I'm pscyhed!!
  12. What kind of bike do you have, rgoper? JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  13. Dude....I won't even take a cheap shot like that. I like to work for a good put-down. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  14. I think that it depends what you use as the "icon" also. If I saw someone's name as the subject and then saw a "frowny face", I would be concerned. However, if I saw the name with a tongue face, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Good call though, DiverDriver, because I'm sure that this could cause some sudden anxiety for some people at times. Chao. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  15. Hey Dan....glad to hear you've been down there a lot. I've wanted to go down there the past two weekends, but we ended up doing something else because the weather looked crappy the day before, but it turns out nice that day. What a crock. Anyway, this weekend, I will not be able because I have to help out with a school function here, next weekend I have to take state board test to be a teacher, but the weekend after that will probably be when we can go. I cannot wait man! What do you think about the Grand Caravan? I bet it's awesome.
  16. I am definetely not a morning person. However, I am forced to wake up at 6am every morning to shower, shit and shave before leaving for student teaching at 6:45am. One good thing is that I am done student teaching at 2:42pm and come home to nap. I would do good on a job that I could work from home and make my own hours. Oh well. That's life.
  17. Cool...I was just curious. For the reply, you just put whatever you want to show like this (minus the dollar sign): *** text goes here [/quote$] Good luck!! JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  18. As in, you guys do beach jumps on Thurs? Just curious.
  19. Richmond THE Boogie...no question. I'm sure those other places are pretty fun, but where else can you see the great state of Indiana and Ohio and skydive like crazy? Would be a great time!! JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  20. Alright, Dan!! Congratulations man. It is always awesome to hear from the people that we went through AFF with. When are you going to be down at Richmond next? See you soon!! Brandon JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
  21. Uhh....yeah....I meant you could print it and forward it via snail-mail. Ok, it's true...I'm retarded. That is what I mean. Copy/paste.
  22. When Laura and I were buying our rigs, the Voodoo was MUCH more expensive for us. Perhaps it was from the discount or something, but they certainly weren't a $60 difference!! Besides, the Wings container is awesome!! No complaints!!
  23. Yeah, that is where I found all the hardware for my parents' computer that I built last year. Seems a great tool for many electronic things you'd like to buy.
